The Ultimate Diablo 4 Leveling Guide - Leveling From 1 To 100

In this leveling guide, we’ll be exploring the most effective strategies for leveling up in Diablo 4. We’ll dive into various methods to rapidly advance your character during the early stages, and how to optimize your late-game progression with different activities. I’ll even share tips on how to quickly level your alts.

Additionally, we’ll take a look at bonuses that can further enhance your experience points. Stay tuned as we go over the path to getting to level 100.

The Ultimate Diablo 4 Leveling Guide - Leveling From 1 To 100

Intro

Leveling up from 1 to 50 can be a breeze, especially for your first character, as you’ll naturally progress through the story. However, if you’re looking to power-level an alternate character, I’ve got some practical strategies to share.

First, consider selecting the ‘Skip Campaign’ option when creating your alt. Once you’re in the game, focus on completing Whispers. Instead of rushing through objectives, take the time to clear out groups of mobs you encounter along the way.

Here’s the key: prioritize Whispers that lead to dungeons. Why? Because not only will you earn experience points from the dungeon mobs, but you’ll also receive a substantial bonus upon completing it.

Don’t forget to turn in your completed Whispers at the Tree of Whispers for even more experience points.

If you’re playing during Season 1, your best bet is Dindai Hollow. It offers straightforward objectives and plenty of elite enemies. After finishing the dungeon, simply exit, open your map, and select ‘Reset Dungeons.’ Repeat this process until you reach levels 20 to 30. These practical tips will have your alternate character leveling up efficiently in no time.

Level 20-30

If you find yourself in the level range of 20 to 30 and are eager to optimize your leveling experience, turning your attention towards strongholds is the way to go.

Among the top recommendations, I’d suggest exploring Kor Dragan northwest of Kyovashad, Onyx Watchtower southeast of Ked Bardu, and the Temple of Rot directly south of Ked Bardu.

In Kor Dragan, our primary focus will be on these specific circular objectives. As you venture into these areas, be on the lookout for tumors that need to be destroyed. Each tumor is surrounded by elite enemies, and upon destroying a tumor, another elite will emerge. To sweeten the deal, as you reach the end of Kor Dragan, a challenging boss encounter awaits, promising you a substantial boost in experience points.

To maximize Stronghold grinding, it’s crucial to understand how to reset a Stronghold. Instead of wrapping up with the final objective after defeating the boss, simply access your menu and select ‘Leave Game.’ Upon logging back in, you’ll find yourself right at the entrance, with the Stronghold reset to its initial state.

Level 50

Once you’ve reached level 50, it’s time to do a capstone dungeon. To gain access to the Cathedral of Light, you’ll need to transition to World Tier 2. You’ll find this cathedral in the church in Kyovashad. The initial phase of this dungeon follows a standard pattern: gather animus and confront a boss at the end.

Diablo 4 Cathedral of Light

However, unlike most dungeons, there’s one more section to conquer. In this new stage, you’ll have to eliminate all enemies and conclude the dungeon with a final boss. While it’s possible to attempt the Cathedral of Light before hitting level 50, exercise caution as it poses a considerable challenge compared to earlier dungeons.

The smoothest way to do a capstone dungeon is to get the assistance of a high-level friend to guide you through it.

Level 50-70

Leveling 50 to 70 is all about Nightmare Dungeons

To enter a Nightmare Dungeon, you first need a Nightmare Sigil, which would be located in your consumables tab.

To get your first Nightmare Sigil, I recommend doing whispers until you get a nightmare sigil from opening a whispers cache.

Here’s how to read nightmare sigils. At the top, we have the name of the dungeon. In Season 1, the fastest nightmare dungeons for leveling are: Uldur’s cave, Sarat’s Lair, Mariner’s Refuge, Hoarfrost Demise, Immortal Emanation, and Domhainne Tunnels.

The level of the mobs is determined by the sigil tier plus 53 in World Tier 3 and plus 54 in World Tier 4. Nightmare Dungeons contain random benefits and detriments known as dungeon affixes.

The best benefits are reduced cooldown on kill, magic find, Diablo 4 Gold find, battle hardened, quick killer, and increased critical strike. The worst detriments are Drifting Shade, Lightning Storm, Stormbanes Wrath

If you get bad Nightmare Sigils, salvage them at the occultist. Then, use the sigil powder to craft new Nightmare Sigils.

In a recent patch that increased the mob density, Nightmare Dungeons are by far the fastest way to level.

Diablo 4 Nightmare Dungeons

The key to efficiently leveling in Nightmare Dungeons is finding the sigil tier that you can complete the fastest. Get your clear times somewhere between 3 and 5 minutes. If you find yourself dying or taking longer than 5 minutes to clear a Nightmare Dungeon, try doing a sigil with a lower tier level.

Gearing yourself appropriately, choosing the right build, efficiently using paragon points, and getting better legendary aspects are all ways to boost your clear speeds. Faster clears equals more experience points.

To break away from the grind, do some Hell Tides. Hell Tides offer plenty of elites just like Nightmare Dungeons, the drawbacks not being able to choose the levels of the mobs you fight.

Leveling with Hell Tides isn’t as efficient as leveling with Nightmare Dungeons, but you do get some awesome Diablo 4 Items and equipment opportunities with Hell Tide chests. Running too many Nightmare Dungeons in a row can lead to fatigue and burnout.

World Tier 4

To get into World Tier 4, you’ll need to clear the last capstone dungeon. Set your world tier to World Tier 3, and head east of Kyovashad to the Fallen Temple. The recommended level to take on this challenge is level 70. You’ll either need to be well geared or have a high level friend to carry you through this capstone.

The last boss is Elias, and this is definitely one of the hardest bosses I’ve encountered in Diablo IV. Unfortunately, the best way to level in World Tier 4 is still Nightmare Dungeons. It is currently the fastest way to gear, level up, and the only way to level glyphs.

Diablo 4 Elias

Eventually, Diablo 4 will have a World Tier 5, which hopefully comes with new content to grind with.

Level 70 - 100

Leveling from 70 to 100 is going to take substantially longer than anything we’ve done so far.

Lastly, to boost your experience points even higher, be sure to use potions during dungeons, this offers a 5% bonus, party up with someone for an extra 10% bonus, and don’t forget to use your seasonal blessings for a 20% bonus.

Dark and Darker Ghost King’s Abilities & Attacks Explained - How To Survive During The Boss Fight?

In this guide, we’re going to be looking at the mechanics behind the Ghost King boss fight and what you need to do to survive them.

This main game boss has the most health of the current three, can deal heavy True Magic Damage, and has an instant kill mechanic. So, it’s recommended that on your first fight, you bring along a team healing class, such as a Cleric or Bard.

Dark and Darker Ghost King's Abilities & Attacks Explained - How to Survive during the Boss Fight?

Abilities

Let’s jump right into the boss’s abilities.

The Ghost King has a total of 5 damaging moves and a stacking debuff called the Curse of Chilling, which you’ll need to pay attention to throughout the fight.

1. Orb Attack

The first ability we will look at is the Orb Attack, which may be used at any time.

During this fight, the Ghost King will wind up shortly, then send out a fan of five orbs in the direction of the targeted player. Each of these orbs will deal 30 True Magic Damage and apply one stack of Chilling. This attack may be dodged by circling closely around the Ghost King or even ducked under.

If you’re at longer range, you can stand in between the projectiles or try to time your jump to jump over them since they’re affected by gravity and will arc downwards.

The orbs will also be blocked by the environment features. So, with correct positioning, you may hide behind the entrance walls. If a player does happen to get hit by the Orb Attack, the Ghost King will heal for 30 health and spawn a fight-long curse pool at the player’s location.

Standing in this pool will quickly give you stacks of chilling, so try your best to avoid entering them.

2. Teleport Attack

The second ability we will look at is the Teleport Attack.

The Ghost King will teleport to a player and spawn a curse pool at the arriving location. If you’re standing at the arrival location, you’ll take 20 True Magic Damage, be knocked back, and gain one Curse of Chilling stack.

Again, these curse pools will last the entire fight. Do your best to group them and keep the arena open.

3. Earthquake Slam (Slam)

The next ability is the Earthquake (Slam).

The Ghost King will teleport back to the center of the map and rise to the ceiling. After a brief moment, the Ghost King will then slam into the ground and spawn three skull bats. Any players that fail to jump when the Ghost King slams will be killed.

To properly dodge the Earthquake, pay attention to the slight hop that the Ghost King performs while in the air and jump immediately after that. Do not attempt to anticipate the jump. Just react as you’ll not need to worry about any other fight mechanics during this move.

4. Ghost King’s Scream

Next, we have the Ghost King’s Scream.

This is where the Curse of chilling stacks come into play. The Ghost King will pause all moves, hunch over, and let out an arena wide screen. That will deal 10 True Magic Damage. Each Curse of Chilling stack that you have will multiply this value.

So, you’ll need to pay close attention to your status effect icon bar throughout the fight.

The duration of the Curse of Chilling is only 8 seconds long. So, if you’re picking up stacks, just stow your weapons away and keep dodging around until the debuffs expire.

As a general rule, avoid going past four stacks and you’ll be fine. If you’re above 10 stacks, be prepared to leave the arena or ask for help from your Cleric as a Curse of Chilling may be cleansed.

The Ghost King’s Scream ability will be activated at every 20% hp loss from the boss or immediately after a player is killed. So, back-to-back screams may occur.

5. Eating (Feast)

The final ability is Ghost King's Eating or Feast move.

Here, the Ghost King will gain a temporary shield and pursue a player. If they catch their target or any player that walks in front of them, they'll inflict a route and deal 10 True Magic Damage per second. This move in particular would not apply any Curse of Chilling stacks, but still should be avoided as this move alone may be lethal.

If you do have a Cleric on your team, they may cleanse you out of this ability.

Here is a small tip: weapon on hit slows will still apply to the Ghost King during this move. You can use Dark and Darker Gold to buy a good weapon to help you deal damage. So, you can help out your teammate by attacking the boss while they're getting chased.

Dark and Darker Ghost King

Conclusion

In summary, we have the Orb Attack that applies the Curse of Chilling and spawns a curse pool on hit.

We have the Teleport Attack, which knocks back applies Curse of Chilling and also spawns a curse pool at the location.

We have the Earthquake (Slam), which has a 60 second cooldown and must be jumped to survive on this one. Just remember to look out for the in-air hop.

We have the Ghost King's Scream, which deals in arena wide 10 True Magic Damage and is increased by each Curse of Chilling stack. This particular move is triggered at every 20% hp lost or one of our players killed.

And finally, we have the Eating or Feast ability in which the Ghost King will chase a player and deal a damaging route if they are caught.

Just a final reminder: this route as well as any number of Curse of Chilling stacks may be cleansed.

On high roller mode, all abilities will deal an initial 50% damage. Now, you know all the Ghost King's moves and abilities.

How To Become The Ultimate Goalscoring Striker In FIFA 23? - 5 Expert Tips

Are you ready to unleash the fun in FIFA 23’s Player Career Mode? You’re in the right place. Because today, we’re going to show you how to become the ultimate Goalscoring Striker.

We’re talking about netting, those beautiful goals that make the crowd go wild. Whether you’re a seasoned FIFA player or just starting out, we’ve got some expert tips that will help you improve your game and have more fun while doing it. So, grab your controller and let’s dive right in.

How to Become the Ultimate Goalscoring Striker in FIFA 23? - 5 Expert Tips

Tip 1: The Art Of Finishing

Our first tip is all about mastering the Art of Finishing.

This is the key to scoring in any situation. It’s not just about getting the ball on target, but knowing how to outsmart the Goalkeeper and put the ball in the back of the net.

FIFA 23 The Art of Finishing

Driven Shots

One of the most effective ways to finish is with a Driven Shot.

This is a low hard shot aimed at the corners of the goal. It’s particularly effective when you’re one on one with the Goalkeeper.

To execute a Driven Shot instead of filling up the power bar, you just give the button to shoot a little tap. This will keep the ball low and increase the chances of it finding the back of the net.

Finesse Shots

Next, let’s talk about Finesse Shots. These are perfect for when you’re in front of goal and need to curl the ball around the Goalkeeper.

To execute a Finesse Shot, you’ll want to hold down the Finesse Shot button while powering up your shot. The key here is to aim for the far post, curling the ball around the keeper.

Power Shots

Finally, if you find yourself with some space in the Box, don’t be afraid to unleash a Power Shot. This is a high risk high reward strategy. But when executed correctly, it can result in some spectacular goals.

To execute a Power Shot, you’ll want to power up your shot. And then, when your player is about to hit the ball, press the button again.

Remember, timing and accuracy are crucial here. Manual aiming also comes into the equation here. So, aim carefully.

Remember, practice makes perfect spend some time in the Practice Arena, working on these shots from different angles and situations. Before you know it, you’ll be scoring goals like a pro.

Tip 2: Positioning

Our second tip is all about Positioning.

Being in the right place at the right time can make all the difference when it comes to scoring goals. It’s not just about being near the goal, but understanding the flow of the game and anticipating where the ball is going to be.

FIFA 23 Positioning

Know When To Stay Away

Sometimes, the best thing you can do as a Striker is to stay away from the ball. This might sound counter-intuitive, but by doing so, you can create space for yourself and your teammates.

This is especially effective when your team is in possession and building an attack. By staying away from the ball, you can draw Defenders away creating gaps for your teammates to exploit.

Know When To Go And Get The Ball

On the other hand, there are times when you need to go and get the ball

This is especially true when your team is on the counterattack or when you see an opportunity to exploit a gap in the defense. In these situations, making a well-timed run to get the ball can put you in a prime position to score.

Well Timed Runs

The key to good positioning is anticipation and awareness.

Keep an eye on the ball, but also pay attention to the movement of your teammates and the Defenders. Look for gaps in the defense and make your move at the right time.

And remember, practice makes perfect. Spend some time in the Practice Arena, working on your positioning and making runs from different angles and situations.

Tip 3: Long Shots

Our third tip is all about Long Shots. These are the goals that really get the crowd on their feet.

But scoring from outside the Box requires a good understanding of when to go for power and when to go for finesse.

FIFA 23 Long Shots

Go For Power When In Space

When you have a clear sight of goal and some space, going for power can be a great option.

To execute a powerful Long Shot, you’ll want to power up your shot to three quarters of the power bar and aim for the top corners of the goal.

Remember, timing and accuracy are crucial here.

Go For Finesse From Angles

On the other hand, when you’re at an angle or the Goalkeeper is off his line, a Finesse Shot can be the better option.

To execute a Finesse Long Shot, you’ll want to hold down the Finesse Shot button while powering up your shot.

The key here is to aim for the far post, curling the ball around the keeper.

Power Of The Outside Of The Foot Shots

And let’s not forget about using the outside of the foot. This is a very useful technique in FIFA 23, especially when you’re at an angle to the goal.

To execute an outside of the foot shot, you’ll want to aim your shot at the far post.

Using the outside of the foot will give the shot an incredible curve and dip. This will catch goalkeepers off guard and result in some spectacular goals.

Tip 4: Understanding The Goalkeeper

Our fourth tip is all about understanding the Goalkeeper knowing how they react and position themselves can give you the upper hand when it comes to scoring goals.

FIFA 23 Understanding The Goalkeeper

Near Or Far Post

One of the most important things to pay attention to is the positioning of the Goalkeeper.

Are they standing near the near post or the far post? Are they off their line or hugging the goal line?

On Goal Line Or In Front Of Goal Line

Recognizing these situations can help you decide what type of shot to use.

For example, if the Goalkeeper is standing near the near post, a Finesse shot to the far post can be a great option. On the other hand, if the Goalkeeper is off their line, a Chip Shot can catch them off guard. And, if the Goalkeeper is hugging the goal line, a powerful shot to the top corner can be hard to stop.

Tip 5: Scoring On The Counter

Finally, we're going to talk about scoring on the counter.

Fast break goals can be a game changer, but they require quick thinking and understanding the qualities and skills of the player you control.

FIFA 23 Scoring On The Counter

Know Your Qualities

If you're controlling a fast player, your best bet is to go deep and ask for the ball. If you don't have this kind of player yet, you can use FUT 23 Coins to purchase one.

Use your speed to get behind the defense and create a one-on-one situation with the Goalkeeper. To ask for the ball, you'll want to press the appropriate button on your controller.

If you're a good passer, you should focus on setting up the counter. Look for your teammates making runs and try to play them in with a well-timed pass.

Remember, a good counterattack is all about speed and precision. And if you're a little slower but a great finisher, you should stay away at the setup of the counter and just make sure you are there to finish it off. Position yourself in the Box and get ready to receive the ball.

When the ball comes your way, use your finishing skills to put it in the back of the net.

How Did Echo Win the WoW Dragonflight Season 2 TGP Global Finals? - World Record +31 Freehold

The TGP Dragonflight Season 2 has concluded and Echo won the Global Finals with a phenomenal performance. Here, I will be going over the Highlights of their World Record 31 Freehold run.

You can learn some tactics through my commentary, so that you can deal with some bosses in WoW Dragonflight more easily and farm more WoW Dragonflight Gold or loot.

How Did Echo Win the WoW Dragonflight Season 2 TGP Global Finals?- World Record +31 Freehold

Dungeon Start

Right before the key starts, the players without stealth or invisibility use an Invisibility Potion to skip past the first few trash packs, so they can commit bloodlust and all CDs for the double Irontide Enforcer pull.

This pull is very dangerous on a high fortified key because of the Enforcers Shattering Bellow cast, one shotting players from 100% to 0 if they don’t use strong defensive CDs.

After they’re done with this pull, they backtrack and pick up another few trash packs to recover their offensive and defensive CDs for the boss. They focus down the Crackshot, because it’s a hunter-type mob that is very hard to move.

Once it’s dead and their CDs are back up, they drag the rest of the trash with them and engage the boss.

Skycap'n Kragg

Skycap’n Kragg is the most volatile boss in this dungeon for this keylevel.

The main problem is phase 1, which lasts until they pushed the boss to 75% hp.

In this phase, the boss is mounted on his parrot Sharkbait and casts Pistol Shot on random players in the group. This ability does around 720000 fire damage on this key level. It is not telegraphed and it can hit the same player multiple times in a row.

WoW Dragonflight Season 2 Skycap'n Kragg

Without multiple defensives, the players get one shot from 100 to 0. Additionally, players have to be healed back up to 100% hp immediately after a shot, otherwise they will die to a follow up shot.

Phase 2 is a lot easier for them, but they still have to make sure to not have multiple players get hit by Azerite Powder Shot. And Zaelia is baiting Sharkbaits Vile Bombardment away from the group, while also avoiding the initial damage from the ability with Blessing of Freedom and movement speed abilities.

After the boss is dead, they skip the Irontide Enforcer at the start of the bridge with a pretty cool trick. Gingi mounts up on a 3 seater mount, both Meeres and Zaelia jump on the mount and Clickz is rescuing them onto the bridge, past the Enforcer, while Naowh is using wild charge and stealth to skip the mob.

Next, they gather up a lot of neutral mobs and the trash packs in the next boss area. They focus down the Bilge Rat Brinescale because it’s a caster and they don’t want to deal with it during the boss fight.

Council o' Captains

Once it’s dead, they drag the rest of the trash on top of Eudora and Raoul.

The start of this fight is pretty difficult for them because they still have trash mobs up, one of them being a Trapper. So, they have to deal with rat traps being thrown onto them periodically, while also worrying about Eudoras Powder Shot and Grapeshot.

The rat traps can be cleared by Naowh, because bear form makes him immune to the root, but Naowh has to prioritize the bosses and trashes positioning, because he wants to move them into Caustic Freehold Brew, which is the “green swirly” applying a heavy dot to all enemies or players standing within it.

Eudoras Powder Shot does physical damage and can be pretty dangerous for the cloth wearers in their comp, so they have to space out their defensive cds really well or utilize the pillars in the room to line of sight the ability. Zaelia is using his Blessing of Freedom to remove the Blackout barrel from whomever it lands on.

Also Read: WoW Dragonflight 10.1.5: How To Master The Shadow Priest? - Stats, Talents, Rotation & Enchants

Once Eudora is dead, they are chaining more mobs into Raoul, because the boss isn’t as dangerous anymore and they want to utilize the Brews to finish off more enemy forces.

Clickz is using rescue to jump up the hill and pull a trash pack, while Gingi is moving to the back and adding another 2 trash packs.

The boss dies after 5 mins and 22 seconds. They dealt with 27% enemy forces and the boss within that time.

Now Gingi is moving towards the Ring of Booty to talk to the NPC to activate the RP. While Gingi is on his mission, Naowh is preparing for one of the biggest trash pulls of their run. Naowh is gathering 29 total mobs for this pull, the rest of the team jumps up on a building to avoid getting hit by Duelist charges and Oarsman Sea Spouts.

This strategy was first used by NA’s Last Hope, the 2nd place team, and then adopted by the other TGP teams. They commit their 2nd Bloodlust of the dungeon for this pull. It’s very difficult for Naowh to survive the insane amount of damage all of these mobs do to him and the rest of the team has to worry about the Plague Step from the Bilge Rat Padfoots. They do heavy initial dmg and leave a disease on the players, doing nature damage and reducing healing taken by 25%.

Even though they have both Zaelia on the paladin and Meeres on the Priest that can dispel disease on a short cd, they also have to worry about dispelling the afflicted affix. This is why they are committing Dwarf Racials and heavy defensive cds for this pull.

Ring of Booty

Once they're done, they move to the Ring of Booty.

They catch the pig and gather up 3 Crushers while waiting for Ludwig to spawn. They pull another trash pack into the boss but still focus Ludwig to make sure Trothak spawns faster.

There is a lot to dodge for the players, as they have to avoid getting hit by the Shells from Ludwig, the Crushers Ground Shatter and Boulder Throw while later also kiting the Sharks on Trothak.

They then finish off Trothak and are ready to move to the final boss area. Meeres uses Mind Soothe on a couple of packs so they can walk up the bridge, while Naowh stealths ahead to get into position to pull a trash pack onthe boss.

They then use the 3 seater mount and rescue-tech again to skip the last trash packs. While Naowh is pulling the last enemy forces they need, Gingi pulls the pack that is linked to the boss. Then, Naowh engages the boss and Gingi uses Invisibility to reset the trash they don’t Harlan Sweete want to fight.

Harlan Sweete

Phase 1 of isn’t as difficult as the later phases, so they can finish off the trash without having to worry too much.

WoW Dragonflight Season 2 Harlan Sweete

Once the boss enters phase 2 at 60%, they have finished off all the mobs except the Oarsman that dies shortly after. Now they have to space out their defensive CDs properly to survive the Whirling Daggers and the Cannon Barrage being applied to the whole group.

They also saved their Bloodlust for their last set of 2-minute CDs to finish off the boss and time the 31 Freehold as the only team to do so in the Dragonflight Season 2 TGP Finals!

Of course, these strategies are incredibly risky and really well executed, so huge shout out to Echo for pulling off the victory this weekend, amazing job!

EA FC 24 Playstyles Explained - Shooting Themed, Passing Themed, Defensive Themed, Ball Control Themed, Physical Themed & Goalkeeper Themed Playstyles

Playstyles are brand new for FC 24 and look like they’re going to have a great impact on gameplay.

Here, we’re going to break down each individual playstyle and talk about what they are and what they’ll do. You’re going to want to stick around to hear about some of these playstyles because some of them do actually grant unique abilities to players.

What Are Playstyles?

First, what are playstyles?

They are essentially replacing the trait system that we’ve seen in Ultimate Team. Playstyles are going to give players extra abilities that go beyond just upgrading attributes. Besides, upgrading attributes is actually not easy, because you need to prepare a lot of FC 24 Coins.

EA FC 24 Playstyles Explained - Shooting Themed, Passing Themed, Defensive Themed, Ball Control Themed, Physical Themed & Goalkeeper Themed Playstyles

Playstyles +

There are also playstyles + that in EA’s own words enhance their signature abilities Playstyles to a world-class standard.

Think of Howland’s Power Shot or Sam Kerr’s Finesse Shot, reflecting elite players’ abilities to play at a level that few others can reach. With that in mind, let’s now break down each playstyle.

Power Shot

Up first, we have the Power Shot. This, when applied, is going to do pretty much what it suggests it will do improve the power over short and the speed in which it’s performed.

The upgraded version of of it, Power Shot + will mean a strike is produced in even quicker time and with more power. This will be given to a player who is known for taking powerful shots outside the box.

Dead Ball

Next up is the Dead Ball playstyle.

This will be given to players who are known for being set piece specialists. When applied, this will allow a player to deliver a ball with increased speed, curve, and accuracy, and also the ball trajectory preview line will be increased.

For the playstyle plus version of Dead Ball, the speed, curve, accuracy will improve further and the trajectory on will actually be at maximum length.

Chip Shot

The Chip Shot is the next playstyle to discuss.

This will allow the shot type to be performed quick and with great accuracy. If you have the Chip Shot + version, the EA website says Chip Shot will then have exceptional accuracy.

Finesse Shot

Now, we come on to the Finesse Shot.

We all know how Finesse Shot overpowered they have been over the years. Players who try and place the ball when shooting a girl will have this and the playstyle will increase the accuracy and add a small curve. Also, the shots will be produced much quicker.

The upgraded version will see shots perform significantly faster and with maximum curve and accuracy.

Power Header

Players who are known to strike with power with headers could have the Power Header playstyle.

The gameplay effect is pretty much as you’d expect. A more powerful and accurate header will be produced with the post version, having maximum power and accuracy.

EA FC 24 Playstyles Explained 2

Pinged Pass

Those were the shooting themed playstyles. Now, we move on to the passing ones and we’re going to begin with Pinged Pass.

This will increase the accuracy of through balls. Swerved passes will have more care and Precision passes will travel even faster.

The upgraded version will allow for far more accurate through balls. Swerved passes will have maximum curve and Precision passes will travel at top speed.

Honestly, this playstyle sounds amazing. It’ll be given to players who are known for splitting defenses with a pass.

Incinsive Pass

The Incinsive Pass playstyle will be given to a player who is known for making high-speed ground passes. And the gameplay effect is passes will travel faster along the ground without impacting the trapping difficulty of the receiver.

The playstyle plus here means that the ball will travel even faster.

Long Ball Pass

Now, we have the Long Ball Pass to discuss.

This, like it suggests, helps with lobs and lofted through passes. They become more accurate and travel even faster.

The effect of the Long Ball Pass + here is that they’re even more accurate and faster and ultimately become hard to intercept. A player who is known for performing such passes will have this.

Tiki Taka

The Tiki Taka playstyle will help with first-time ground passes and even use Back Heels when appropriate to distribute the ball.

The upgraded effect will mean they have even greater accuracy and short distance ground passes become exceptionally accurate.

Whipped Pass

The final passing themed one is called the Whipped Pass.

This is for players known for making high-speed whipped crosses into the box. The gameplay effect is that crosses will have higher accuracy, travel faster, and come with more curve.

The Whipped Pass + means that they’ll be even more accurate and faster, have more curve and driven crosses come with exceptional power.

EA FC 24 Playstyles Explained 3

First Touch

The next section is Ball Control playstyles. First Touch is the name of the first one. This is for players who are known for an accurate First Touch in difficult situations.

The playstyle effect has reduced error when trapping the ball and is able to transition to dribble in faster with greater control.

And the plus version of this has minimal error when trapping the ball and then is able to transition into dribbling with much faster and greater control.

Flair

The Flair playstyle will be for players who are known to try flamboyant moves.

The effect that this has is fancy passes and shots are performed with more accuracy. And that Flair animations will happen when appropriate.

Playstyle plus for Flair means fancy passes and shots have even greater accuracy.

Press Proven

The Press Proven playstyle is for players who are known for keeping possession under physical pressure from an opponent.

And the gameplay effect here is that the player keeps close control of the ball when dribbling at jog speed and can shield the ball more effectively.

The upgraded version has the player keep the ball exceptionally close when jogging with the ball and allows them to shield the ball even more effectively against stronger opponents.

Rapid

Players who are known to use speed and knock the ball ahead of their opponent could have the Rapid playstyle.

This effect allows them to reach a higher sprint speed when dribbling and has a reduced chance of error when performing knock-ons.

The upgraded version will allow them to reach an even higher speed and the chance of an error is even more reduced.

Technical

Now, we come on to the Technical playstyle and this is for a player who regularly uses technical dribbling to beat an opponent.

The gameplay effect is that a player will reach a higher speed when performing a controlled sprint and will dribble with more Precision when performing tens.

The Technical + version will allow a player to reach an even higher speed and be even more precise.

Trickster

Next, we come on to the fun one, the Trickster.

We’ve seen Vinícius in action in the video trailers using this playstyle. It’s for players known for performing skill moves in 1v1 situations. The Trickster playstyle grants an ability to perform unique flick skill moves.

And the upgraded version grants the ability to perform more unique ground and flick skill moves and also makes the player more significantly agile when strafe dribbling. I get the feeling that this playstyle will be pretty popular.

Block

Let’s now talk about some defensive playstyles and the first one sounds pretty amazing. It’s called Block. And it’s for a Block player who is known for performing elastic and overreaching blocks.

The effect that this will have is it’ll increase the reach when performing blocks and improve the ability to make a successful one.

And then the place that I’ll post variant here is that you’ll have an even greater reach when performing said blocks and also improve the ability to make a successful one.

Bruiser

Then, we have the Bruiser.

This is for a player who is known for winning possession by just being physical in general. The playstyle effect is that it’ll give player greater strength when in those physical tackles. And the playstyle put here is even greater strength when in those physical battles.

Intercept

The Intercept playstyle helps with what you’d expect it to. It increases the reach and improves the chances of returning possession when performing interceptions.

The Intercept + gives an even greater reach and an even more improved chance of returning possession. This is for players known for performing interceptions and keeping the ball.

Jockey

The Jockey playstyle is the next one to talk about. And this is for a player who is known for being successful in 1v1 situations.

And the gameplay effect here sounds very good. It increases the Max Speed of sprint jockey and improves the transition speed from jockey to sprint. So, it’ll definitely help out in those defensive situations.

The Jockey + here is increased Max Speed even more, and it also greatly improves the transition speed from jockey to sprint even further.

Slide Tackle

Another playstyle that I’m definitely interested in is the Slide Tackle.

This grants the ability to stop the ball directly at their feet when performing a Slide Tackle.

The Slide Tackle + version gives improved Slide Tackle coverage. This will be for players who are known for often performing Slide Tackles.

Anticipate

The final defensive one to talk about is called Anticipate. This is for a player who is known for having a high success rate get in ball position on tackles with a low foul win rate.

The playstyle effect here is going to be improved chances of a stand tackle success and also grants the ability to stop the ball directly at their feet when performing a stand tackle.

The upgraded version of this playstyle significantly improves the chances of stand tackle success.

Acrobatic

It’s time to talk about physical playstyles.

Acrobatic is the first one, and this is for a player who tends to perform Acrobatic passes, clearances, or shots. This playstyle will allow players to perform volleys with improved accuracy and also gives them access to more acrobatic volley animations.

The upgraded version here means that volleys will be performed with more accuracy and there is also more unique acrobatic volley animations available.

Aerial

The Aerial playstyle is for players who are known for having a high success rate when in Aerial battles both offensively and defensively. This one’s going to allow players to jump higher and also improve their aerial physical presence.

And the upgraded version here means that they’re going to be able to jump even higher.

Trivela

I feel like we’re all still recovering from the Trivela meta of FIFA 23. But Trivelas are going to have their own playstyle in EA FC 24.

They’ll be for players who are known for passing, crossing, and shooting with the outside of the foot. The effect this playstyle will have is contextually triggers outside of the foot passes and shots.

And the Trivela + here is that there’ll be a reduced error on outside the foot passes.

EA FC 24 Playstyles Explained 4

Relentless

The Relentless playstyle sounds very good for box-to-box Midfielders because that is going to reduce fatigue locks during play and increase fatigue recovery during half time.

The effect of Relentless + sounds pretty interesting:

  • Greatly reduces the long-term fatigue effects on attributes, reaction time, and defensive awareness
  • Reduces fatigue loss during player
  • Significantly increases fatigue recovery during half time

So, like I mentioned previously, for Midfielders who are running a lot, this is going to be great. This is for players who are known for covering a greater area of the field compared to other players in the same position.

Quick Step

For those of you who love to sprint, the Quick Step playstyle might be of interest to you. Because the gameplay effect here is that a player will accelerate faster during an explosive sprint.

And the upgraded effect means that they’ll actually accelerate significantly faster during said explosive sprint. And this is obviously for players who are known for having that quick best of speed when running on and off the ball.

Long Throw

The final of the physical playstyle is called Long Throw and you’ll never guess what this does.

Of course, it allows players to perform throw-ins with increased power to cover more distance.

The upgraded playstyle plus version does allow them to cover maximum distance. This will obviously be given to players who are known to throw the ball favor then the average player.

Far Throw

We’re going to end by talking about the Goalkeeper playstyles, which are a little different to the others. And a couple of the Goalkeeper playstyles are actually be a Goalkeeper exclusive. So, we’re gonna focus on the others. We’re going to start by talking about Far Throw.

If a Goalkeeper has this, they can target players further away with front passes.

Footwork

If they have the Footwork playstyle, a Goalkeeper will perform saves with their feet more frequently.

Cross Claimer

If they have the Cross Claimer playstyle, a Goalkeeper will try to intercept across if they can get to it slightly before the opponent.

Rush Out

And if they have the Rush Out playstyle, a Goalkeeper is more aggressive when coming out the box to gather those loose balls, whether they be over the top three balls or long through balls.

The Fastest Way To Get Any Legendary Aspect In Diablo 4 - Doing Helltides Properly

Recently, I have often been asked how do I find Shockwave Aspect or Aspect Of the Trampled Earth and so on. And most of the time, it’s kind of just luck. But there actually is a method that is faster than others to find legendary items very fast. That’s what we’re going to talk about today.

Helltides Overview

The fastest way to get lots of legendaries is by doing Helltides properly and there are a lot of tricks to make the most out of a Helltide.

Now, Helltides last for exactly one hour. And during that time, events are actually going to occur more frequently. They’re going to reset faster. Monsters are going to be dropping Aberrant Cinders, which can be used to open Helltide chests. Besides, the monsters are higher level than you, which means great XP and Diablo 4 Gold gains.

The Fastest Way To Get Any Legendary Aspect In Diablo 4 - Doing Helltides Properly

Not only that, but Helltides are the only place where you can obtain Forgotten Souls, which are a crafting material needed for fifth and final level upgrades for your gear.

Remember that Helltides only occur in World Tier 3 or 4. So, if you aren’t there yet, you’ll need to unlock it first. And it is worth mentioning you lose half your Cinders if you die, so try not to do that.

Now, it will occasionally rain meteors during Helltides and that means there’s a chance to spawn an Elite after the rain is over in close proximity to you. These Elites are pretty tough but are definitely worth fighting for their drops of Cinders and other Diablo 4 Items.

There’s also an Elite monster called Kixxarth, the Helltide assassin, who wanders the Helltide. Slaying him rewards a high amount of Forgotten Souls. So, it’s absolutely worth trying to take him out if you can.

Within a Helltide, there are ore nodes and plants that drop Aberrant Cinders and Forgotten Souls, which are called the Fiend Rose and the Screaming Hell Veins. Both of these are worth harvesting if you see them, especially since Fiend Roses can only be found within Helltides.

Finally, there are mystery chests. This is a special type of Helltide chest called the Tortured Gift of Mysteries, which always contains at least one legendary item, but can drop four or more, depending on your luck. These chests require 175 Aberrant Cinders to be opened and will not show up on the global map, but instead appear on your mini-map when you’re in close proximity. And it is a guarantee that there will be at least one in every zone.

How To Get The Most Out Of Helltides?

The trick to getting the most out of these Helltides is to open up an Interactive Map on your second monitor and hide everything besides mystery chests, shrines, and events.

Diablo 4 Interactive Map

Then, you’re going to want to locate a cluster of shrines and events somewhat near a mystery chest. And your ideal path will lead you to first pick up a shrine and then start an event and then immediately go to another event and so on.

And events are going to be refreshing really fast. I actually found that I did an event, walked away for probably 60 seconds, and then came back and the event was already refreshed with a different event. So, it’s actually really great if you can find a cluster of events to just go back and forth between.

Tricks For Doing Helltides

The reason events are so important during Helltides is that the density of monster spawns, which means you’re going to be farming more Aberrant Cinders. Also, the Obols you’ll acquire from the events can be used to gamble at the Purveyor of Curiosities for yet another chance at more legendary items and the aspects you’re looking for.

But keep in mind that the mystery chests marked on the Interactive Map are only potential spawn points. And that it’s not guaranteed that there will be a chest there. So, always leave yourself some time before the end of the Helltide to ensure you can use all of your Cinders. Because they will be lost at the end of the Helltide.

Diablo 4 Aberrant Cinders

Now, the mystery chests are the most expensive chests requiring 175 Aberrant Cinders and accordingly offer the most loot. Another trick you can use if you’ve unlocked World Tier 4 is to gather Aberrant Cinders in World Tier 3. Then, once you’ve found a mystery chest, Town Portal and change to World Tier 4. Then, return to the chest using your Town Portal and open the mystery chest for World Tier 4 loot, using World Tier 3 Aberrant Cinders you gathered.

One last thing to keep in mind is that shrines take a lot longer to refresh than events. So, once you pick one up for the first time, I wouldn’t worry about going out of your way to get to that same shrine again. Because it’s probably not refreshed. Just look for another nearby shrine along your path.

Personally, my favorite shrine is Channeling. You get unlimited resources and shortened cooldowns. And for some reason, Conduit doesn’t always feel like it’s helpful. So, if I were you, I’d probably avoid that one. Because you also can’t mount up either and I haven’t found a way to turn off Conduit Shrine.

So, those are my tips for getting the most out of Helltides. And in my opinion, this is the fastest way to get all of your legendary aspects. These mystery chests drop lots of legendary items, which you can then extract or potentially even use. And the high frequency of event refreshes will give you the highest amount of Obols basically in the game that you can find, which you can then go to use at the Purveyor of Curiosities for even more chances at finding that legendary aspect you’re after.

Honkai Star Rail: What Impact Will Silver Wolf Have On The Meta?

Silver Wolf quite literally has made a huge impact on the meta. So, here, I am going to talk about her place in the meta, things that you need to know about her, whether you already have her or not, as well as cover some important questions like how game-changing her first Eidolons are. Most importantly, I will showcase the most insane teams you can build with her.

New Teams

Let’s first talk about the new amazing teams you can build with Silver Wolf and how different they are from what we’re used to.

I won’t be delving too deep into Silver Wolf’s kit, since there’ are already a lot of guides about that. Instead, I want to show you something different.

The biggest thing about Silver Wolf is her ability to implant a weakness type to an enemy that doesn’t have it. This one mechanic alone allows you to build more than 5 new teams and all of them are interesting in their own way.

*So, the first team is Mono Fire, which is made up of Asta, Himeko and Fire Trailblazer. The survivability here goes out the window without the healer. But, because of the upcoming changes to Memory of Chaos, this team is going places already. So what’s so great about it?

Honkai Star Rail Silver Wolf

First of all, Silver Wolf can easily implant Fire Weakness on enemies who don’t have it, even though there is a 50/50 chance. It could be also Quantum, if the enemy doesn’t have it. It is a bit of a bummer. You have to flip a coin and hope this works out, since it doesn’t matter how many team mates you have from the same element in the team. The game’s programming basically just weighs the two elements and considers one of the two before implanting the enemy. Of course, if the enemy has Quantum Weakness but doesn’t have Fire, then it’s a 100% guarantee that Silver Wolf will just be able to keep applying this weakness.

Now, Fire Weakness matters a lot to Asta. Her whole schtick is to boost the team’s ATK when she damages an enemy. But, if the enemy has Fire Weakness, she gains an additional stack. This allows you to rapidly build those stacks, boost everyone’s ATK and in addition, she also provides 18% Fire Damage increase for the whole team from one of her major traces. I cannot tell you how good this is when Silver Wolf can literally implant Fire Weakness on any boss who doesn’t have it. And this makes the team super consistent with Asta’s buffing.

Also, breaking enemies’ weakness is Himeko’s bread and butter. The more you break, the more she unleashes her strong follow-up attack. And you will have an easy time doing this, thanks to Silver Wolf’s Fire Weakness Implant. But with that being said, I would say this is the weakest team out of the all I am going to show you. But, it couldn’t exist right now without the Wolf.

*The next team I am really excited to talk about is Mono Ice, which is made up of Gepard, Pela and Yan Qing. Probably the most amazing thing here is the absolutely disgusting amount of DEF shred you can achieve with both Pela and Silver Wolf.

All of their DEF shredding stacks together. For example, you can see Pela’s burst DEF reduction. She’s also equipped with the Pearls of Sweat Light Cone, which shreds DEF. Then, we have Silver Wolf’s Ultimate and Bug Implant, both reducing defense. All of this totaling up to 96% of reduced DEF. That’s almost attacking an enemy without any DEF at all.

And my Pela’s traces aren’t even leveled. So you can imagine what a field day Yan Qing gets to have when he delivers insane single target damage. And what’s also great is that Gepard can actually keep the team alive pretty well. So, this is legit an amazing team you can go for if you wanna build a Mono Ice team comp.

*Moving over, there’s also Mono Lightning with Jing Yuan, Tingyun and Bailu. I am sure you saw this team already, so not much needs to be said here. Thanks to Silver Wolf’s Bug Implant and the ability to reduce the enemies’ Elemental Resistance, Jing Yuan’s damage actually gets boosted by quite a lot. I don’t even have to tell you how much stronger Lightning Lord strikes become.

*Now one other great team is Mono Physical with Clara, Natasha and Sushang. Thanks to Clara’s pseudo tanking and Natasha’s healing, I can actually use this team really well in Memory of Chaos. And Sushang actually shreds the weakness bar by a lot. So, once the enemy gets Physical Weakness implant, the team’s performance skyrockets.

*And then, of course, we have Quantum. Currently, I see a lot of people running double Lightning/Quantum with Tingyun/Bailu and Seele or QQ. Honestly, this is my new team for farming Simulated Universe and thanks to Silver Wolf’s debuffing, I almost doubled Seele’s damage output going from 90k to 170k with her ultimate.

*Finally, one last bonus team to showcase. You could also go for Seele, Silver Wolf and QQ together with either Natasha or Bailu. Just so you can keep those Quantum maniacs alive while they are busy decimating the bosses. But this is just the tip of the iceberg of what potential teams you can build with Silver Wolf. And her ability to enable so many different Mono teams is actually quite staggering.

It’s not something we’re used to and even though you do have to play the coin flip game if the enemy is missing both of the weaknesses. It’s a gamble that you can live with, especially if you strategically build teams against enemies who have the Quantum weakness if it’s not a Mono Quantum team. If that is the case, Silver Wolf will never implant her own weakness.

Meta Analysis

What about Silver Wolf’s place in the meta?

*First of all, we have to look at the upcoming Memory Turbulance changes, since they warp the team building in a significant way. The first one that’s coming in June 12th will reduce enemies’ damage by 4% up to 5 times when they get debuffed.

Basically with Silver Wolf, you will be able to maintain at least on one target all 5 stacks, which is 20% reduced damage and if it’s 2 bosses or elite enemies. The other one will probably have around 3-5 stacks as well. This is a huge change for teams like Mono Fire or Mono Ice where you don’t have a healer and want to sustain the damage with shielding.

*Now the next Turbulence after this, will shred the enemy’s DEF by 6% for each debuff up to 5 times for a total of 30% reduction. For teams without Pela, this is straight up an amazing damage boost for damage dealers when you combine this with Silver Wolf’s DEF shred from her bug and ultimate.

Honkai Star Rail Memory of Chaos

*And finally, the last turbulence is not really important because it mostly has to do with Luocha. From June 12th to July 10th Nihility but mainly Silver Wolf is going to be dominating the Memory of Chaos in an almost unfair way.

Now even if we take out these Memory Turbulence changes out of the equation, the other major buff Nihility or for the most part any debuffer has received has is that every enemies’ Resistance to Effects have been nerfed. This change alone has easily made it possible to build Silver Wolf as a sub-dps instead of just pure support, which I’ll talk about in the next segment.

But the most important thing here to understand is that you no longer need to aim for 120% Effect Hit Resistance with her. And instead, roughly 96% is enough to achieve a guarantee you will land her skill debuff, while the Talent which allows her to implant bugs will have around 85 to 99% success rate depending if the enemy has 40 or 30% Effect Resistance and not many have 40% thanks to these changes, like Cocolia or Svarog.

Honestly, to me this last-minute change HoYoverse did to enemies feels eerily similar back when Kazuha first got released. Back in 1.6, Transformative Reactions received a massive damage boost right when Kazuha’s banner became available. So, I guess it’s pretty clear HoYoverse saw that Silver Wolf needed this in order to allow players to have more freedom with her builds.

All in all, with these additions in mind, Silver Wolf lands herself easily in a top tier spot in tier lists. Because she simply brings so much value from enabling new meta teams or remixing older ones, to providing an insane amount of debuffs her team can work with and utilize.

Right now, if you care about her pull value and Memory of Chaos, she is absolutely worth getting for the simple fact alone. She can manipulate the weakness type, even if it can be random at times, which I’ll admit. This can feel punishing if you put her into the 2nd side of Memory of Chaos. Because you might have to waste time and restart the run if she doesn’t apply the weakness you need, especially since finishing in a limited amount of cycles is really crucial right now to get all 3 stars.

Build Considerations

Now, one more thing I want to talk about are her build considerations. I won’t delve deep here. And instead, maybe you saw how much Effect Hit Rate she needs and became discouraged for pulling for her or you’re in the process of gearing her up. Either way, here’s what you need to think about.

Because of the Effect Resistance nerf that was made to enemies, the golden sweet spot for Silver Wolf, assuming her traces are maxed out, is 96% or about 105% if you have level 7 skill.

For ultimate and talent the numbers will differ, you will need a lot less for the ultimate and a lot more for the talent because of its low base chance. However, what matters the most is the skill.

Now, getting 96% can basically be achieved with Effect Hit Rate body, the new F2P event light cone and then 18% you get from her traces.

But here’s the thing. Effect Hit Rate body massively reduces Silver Wolf’s potential as a sub-damage dealer and instead she kind of acts like a support with some damage.

So, what’s really going to happen with her and what I am also working towards right now, is to actually use Critical Rate body and to obtain the remainder of 38% Effect Hit Rate from the subtats and if needed, the Pan-Galactic planar ornament set.

With the planar set, you only need 28% Effect Hit Rate or if you just go with the substats, you will need to roll on average 9 times on Effect Hit Rate substat to achieve this 96% threshold. This might sound like a lot. But think of it like you would normally chase Critical Rate or Critical Damage substats. It’s definitely achievable in the long run and it is something I highly recommend working towards, instead of just relying on the Effect Hit Rate Body, which is a massive DPS loss for Silver Wolf. That can otherwise be achievable with the Critical Rate Body instead.

Of course, I understand you could be using a light cone that’s not from the current event, which means you’ll need more of Effect Hit Rate it, unless you max out the 5-star options shown here. But for the most part, building her as a hybrid sub-damage dealer and debuffer is going to be your long-term goal.

Broken Eidolons

The 1st one allows her to essentially regain 35 energy after using her Ultimate, which is fine and dandy. Because now you can get rid of the need to have Energy Regeneration Rope and this allows you to increase her damage by even more with ATK or Break Effect rope instead.

However, where things get absolutely bonkers is her second eidolon. You might look at this and think “wow, that’s such a boring upgrade. All enemies have their Effect RES reduced by 20%. It is a big deal”.

Yes, it is actually a big deal. To the point that I think, this eidolon even surpasses Raiden’s 2nd constellation, which is well known in Genshin community as the most powerful upgrade in the game you can get for a character.

Honkai Star Rail Silver Wolf 2

And here’s the thing. With this upgrade, you now only need 47% Effect Hit Rate for Silver Wolf to have a guarantee she can apply her skill debuff on all enemies in the game. And it’s going to be 85% chance to apply her bugs. Not only that, all enemies have their Effect Resistance reduced. That means anyone who can apply in the team with Silver Wolf debuffs benefits from this. For example, Gepard’s skill to Freeze becomes easily guaranteed with some Effect Hit Rate built up and so are others will massively benefit from this.

I am honestly shocked how good this Eidolon is and compared to her signature weapon, I would basically just save up my Warps until her Rerun if you want to have her absolutely cracked. Because this 2nd Eidolon is just a gamechanger overall.

And what’s even crazier is her E4 and her E6, which basically turns her into a mini-Seele. There’s already footage showing her E6 potential, and it’s crazy how strong she becomes of a damage dealer.

Initial Thoughts

All in all, its pretty clear Silver Wolf absolutely changes the meta, and she’s easily one of the strongest characters in the game right now. from manipulating the elemental weaknesses to unleashing tons of debuffs, including a massive DEF shred she can apply. She’s just too good right now. But obviously, this only applies if you care about the meta.

Otherwise, she’s a strong and fun character to use in Simulated Universe, I know I’ve had my own fair share of fun by using her in a few of the runs already. And I can only imagine she’s going to be even deadlier and versatile once those Turbulence buffs arrive.

Still, it is a bit of a greedy move by HoYoverse with the way they tempt you with that sexy 2nd eidolon. But I can assure you, she’s busted even at E0. So, don’t go spending your money unless you’re financially secure.

Since Silver Wolf is a new character, it won’t be easy for you to get her. However, if you directly purchase a Honkai Star Rail Account that includes Silver Wolf, you can easily experience her.

A Brief Overview Of Upcoming Honkai Star Rail 1.1 Update - Five New Features

After the recent livestream, Hoyoverse has finally revealed 5 new exciting features that are coming to the latest Honkai Star Rail 1.1 Update.

A Brief Overview Of Upcoming Honkai Star Rail 1.1 Update - Five New Features

1. New Stories

When it comes to new content, we are getting 4 new Story Quests. We will learn more about Silver Wolf, Yanqing, Bailu and Luocha. Nothing has been revealed in this stream about the main story, so maybe we’ll learn more about this when the game goes live, otherwise, these 4 new quests will be featured in 1.1.

2. New Events

As for the events, there’s lots of them with amazing rewards. The main event featuring Silver Wolf is going to have an interesting activity where you go around and look for grafittis, take photos of them and then use special currency to redeem rewards, including a free 4-Star Nihility Light Cone, which is pretty awesome.

Another event based on the Belobog Museum will have an activity where you manage it and work with artifacts, not the artifacts as in from Genshin but like museum specimens. And the biggest thing about this event is that we will be able to get Self-Modelling Resin for free as a reward. This is a super rare resource and you can use to create a relic with any kind of main stat you want.

Also, a quick look at some other rewards reveals where gonna get a ton of Credits, which I am really looking forward to. I am constantly running out of them. Then, there’s going to be a special combat event, which is similar to the Forgotten Hall. Except here, you can also use trial characters and there will be some special combat bonuses and rules you’ll need to work around. And as you can see from the rewards, we will get materials to craft relics, which are always nice.

Next, similar to Genshin, there will be double Calyx drop rewards and I believe it will be Golden and Crimson Calyx that will have an improved drop rate. There’s also an event focusing around Herta’s Space Station, where we will need to go and help out with various problems that have arisen there and it seems like a new recipe among few other things will be rewarded to you for doing this.

3. New Characters

The next one I’m going to cover is probably the most exciting part of the update. We’re getting 3 new characters in 1.1.

*Let’s start with Silver Wolf. She’s a 5-Star Quantum Nihility character that we got to play for a few moments during a tutorial. We now got an official look at her kit and it seems like she’s going to be a debuffer for the team.

So, her skill deals single target damage and then it applies 1 Weakness of an on-field allies type to an enemy. Not only that, but she will also reduce the Elemental Resistance of that element.

As an example, if you have a Fire ally in your team and no enemies have Fire Weakness, Silver Wolf will make it so that these enemies are weak to Fire element, which sounds amazing.

Now, the ultimate deals with single target damage and then reduce’s enemies DEF, which again, helps everyone deal more damage to that enemy. But what’s really interesting is her talent. Each time Silver Wolf attacks, she will implant one of three bugs, which will either reduce ATK, DEF, or SPD.

Basically, Silver Wolf is going to be an insane debuffer, but of course, until we can actually see her performance on the field, we don’t know how strong she is going to be.

Honkai Star Rail New Characters

*Another 5-Star that’s coming in 1.1 is Luocha. He is a 5-Star Imaginary Abundance healer and his skill will restore health to an ally which seems pretty boring, but this skill is also like a reactive ability, so when anyone in the team drops down below 50% health, he will immediately heal them.

Now, his ultimate deals damage to everyone and removes 1 buff from each enemy, which is pretty amazing because only Pela was able to do that before, so now we’ve got another buff remover.

Finally, his Talent will deploy a field when he reaches 2 stacks of Abyss Flower. This field heals allies when they attack enemies and you can obtain 1 Abyss Flower by using his skill and ultimate.

Honestly, while Luocha doesn’t seem to have an AoE Heal, the fact that he can keep healing in several ways is pretty interesting and also, since he can remove buffs, I think he will be a strong healer in the game.

*Finally, there’s also a new 4-Star Imaginary Harmony character. Yukong seems pretty similar to Tingyun and not just because they both have a tail.

So, her skill boosts everyone’s ATK while her ultimate increases everyone’s Critical Rate and Damage, which seems pretty insane. Not only that, but the ultimate also deals damage to a single enemy, so there’s a great way to reduce some toughness as well.

In fact, her talent improves her Basic ATKs damage and Toughness-Reducing. So, she’s going to be excellent against enemies with Imaginary Weakness.

Finally, her Technique is pretty noteworthy since it boosts movement speed when used in exploration and when you enter combat, she will immediately boost ATK of everyone.

By the way, if you want to get the two 5-Star characters mentioned above directly, then buying Honkai Star Rail Accounts directly will be a good choice!

Now is the most important part of this feature, the banners.

In the first phase, Silver Wolf, along with Asta, Dan Heng and Serval, will be on a featured banner while in the 2nd phase, Luocha, along with Pela Qingque and Yukong will be available to summon. Also, Luocha and Silver Wolf will be getting their own signature Light Cones that you can pull for.

First of all, I am really surprised they revealed all the 4-Stars here. That’s not something we see when we play Genshin, so it’s good to know we can plan around this. I think both of these banners have their pros and cons.

One thing I also want to mention is that during the Chinese livestream, I am not sure if I understood this correctly but Yukong will be given away for free in 1.2 update, not 1.1 but please make sure to double check this once the global livestream goes live. Either way, that sounds pretty good if it’s correct.

4. New QoL

There’s a couple of great Quality of Life changes coming in this new update.

First of all, the materials that drop from roaming enemies in the world required us to run around the map and locate them but with this new change, you can immediately teleport to the enemy by just clicking on the material in the menu, which is really nice.

Obviously, there’s still a daily limit of enemies for before the server reset but this makes farming this stuff a lot more convenient.

Now this next one, I am not super sure if I got this correctly, but we will be able to encounter Warp Trotters on the map. I don’t think they are the same kind as the ones you would find when trying to complete the whole map, as in, they would drop 60 jades when defeated. I believe these ones will spawn randomly and drop more materials than the usual roaming enemy, which seems nice.

Finally, we’re also getting chat function in the game, so anyone who is on your friend list, you can now send messages to each other.

5. Free X10 Summons

The fifth feature is probably the most awesome thing. That’s coming with 1.1 and requires the least effort. A 7-day login reward will be available for everyone by just logging in and claiming the summons.

I am honestly amazed this is happening so soon after the global launch. But to quickly summarize, we’re getting 4 new story quests in 1.1 update featuring these characters.

As for the events, there’s a lot of them, but the main rewards to look out for would be a free 4-Star Nihility Light Cone, Self-Modelling Resin and tons of credits from the museum event. The main event featuring Silver Wolf will explore her story and introduce us to some new things about her.

And as for the banners, in the 1st phase Silver Wolf along with Asta, Dan Heng and Serval will be on a featured banner while in the 2nd phase, Luocha along with Pela Qingque and Yukong will be available to summon. Also, Luocha and Silver Wolf will be getting their own signature Light Cones that you can pull for.

Finally, we’re getting a couple of great quality of life changes, including an instant teleportation to roaming enemies on the map by clicking on the material you want to farm for, as well as a chat function you can use with your friends.

How To Use This Ash of War To Defeat Godfrey For Level 1 Elden Ring Beginners?

When you first enter the wonderful world of Elden Ring, you should realize that fighting various bosses is inevitable. With a huge world view and an open game mechanism, we can freely build characters and skills, which may lead to different performances of the same class in battle. When you are still a novice, you need to start your battle journey step by step to farm loot, such as runes, weapons and more.

In Elden Ring, the type of boss and the difficulty are actually not directly related. However, if we are lucky enough to kill a powerful boss, the rewards we can get are still very rich. But stop fantasizing, combat is not a 100% success rate thing. For example, if you need to face the most hard boss, Malenia, can you say that you can definitely defeat it? I estimate that no one can answer this question with great confidence. However, we can still defeat other seemingly powerful bosses, such as Godfrey, with some neat tricks.

Elden Ring Godfrey

This is The First Elden Lord in Elden Ring. Recently, a player posted a video on r/Eldenring of himself easily beating The First Elden Lord with “This Ash of War”. Here I will introduce to you what This Ash of War is. You can use this special item to replace your own equipped weapon skills and affinities, so the build you can create has more expansion options and is more suitable for everyone’s fighting style. If you learn how to use This Ash of War correctly, even defeating Malenia easily should no longer be difficult.

When this Elden Ring player fights Godfrey, it’s clear we can see the fight unfold in two phases. Initially, the player fought Godfrey using the Dismounter and the Ash of War called Lightning Slash, successfully dodging every attack and striking him hard at every turn. And when Godfrey is in the latter phase Hoarah Loux, you have to be careful at this point, because his attack can change drastically, and many people suffer here. Of course, although Godfrey at this stage looks particularly powerful in attack, his defense against lightning is not very strong, so we can use the Lightning Slash a perfect Ash of War, to kill him in one fell swoop. The trick to this whole fight is being able to spot Godfrey’s weak spots and understand how he moves.

Going back to the original topic, after more than a year of development in Elden Ring, players have gradually become more advanced in the development and exploration of in-game builds. If you encounter other more tough bosses in the future journey, you also need to focus on some smarter and less laborious methods, so as not to waste your precious resources and energy.

If you are currently suffering from a lack of sufficient Elden Ring Runes, Bundles, Consumables, Ash of wars and more items, you can use the code “CSCCA” to get 5% off Elden Ring all in-game products at IGGM.com. Just have a go!

What You Need To Know About Lost Ark Rowen

Beginning February 8th, Lost Ark was hosted a named “special event to celebrate the MMO’s one-year anniversary” This update welcomes a new section called Rowen in Lost Ark. You’ll encounter two competing factions: Preigelli and Liebertane, who compete for the precious crimson jewel of Arkesia, called Sylmael.

Lost Ark Rowen

If you unlock all of Rowen’s quests, then you’re eligible to pick one faction for open-world PvP. However, Amazon Games made a joke saying that “the battle has just begun, and the actual competition will continue to heat in March, when the Tulubik Battlefield will be available.” For those players who want to achieve excellent results and have better experience in the following activities, it is very necessary to reserve sufficient lost ark gold in advance.

Lost Ark event featured many familiar characters from The Witcher, such as Geralt, Yennefer, Triss, Dandelion and Ciri.

After ICYMI updated Wreck the Halls last December, Amazon and Smilegate released the first part of Lost Ark 2023 Roadmap. According to Amazon Games, the first Specialist Advanced Class, the Artist will be launched in this month. And, Artist Class will come in the next month. This time around, gamers in the west will see more revealingly dressed characters, and there may be surprises.

The Artist will also follow a Powerpass and Progression event similar to the one before. Amazon Games hope it can help new Artist mains to prepare for the coming April quickly.

Most recently, Amazon Games and Smilegate said they were correcting their erroneous bans on the Lost Ark players.Let us look forward to the changes in Lost Ark and the opening of a new chapter besides Rowan.

ACNH: 8 Updates & Changes You Should Know In March 2023

We have, of course, just entered the brand new month of March, which means we can expect to see a bunch of changes and updates all around the New Horizons Island. Today, we’ll cover everything you can expect to see, from Events to Materials, and even some of the smaller details we like to cover, such as the Bushes and new Weather Phenomena…

1. Shamrock Day

Now, given Festivale fell in the Winter, and was celebrated much earlier this year, March is a relatively quiet month on the Event front. However, we will get to celebrate Shamrock Day

Shamrock Day, is essentially a Seasonal Event, however, offers a bit more content than your typical seasonal celebration, and comes in 3 parts. From March 10th through to March 17th, the Shamrock Doorplate, Rug and Soda items can be purchased from the Nook Stop, in honour of the Event.

ACNH Shamrock Day

However, the celebrations can be taken a step further, as the Shamrock Suit, Shoes, Hat and Glasses will able be available throughout that week, from the Able Sisters, which is a nice little expansion to the Seasonal Event.

And finally, the DIY recipe for the Shamrock Wand is also available inside Balloon Presents for the week leading up to Shamrock Day itself. Collecting all of these makes for a super fun activity, especially for the newer players out there.

2. Seasonal Events

Now, speaking of limited-time items, March does see some of your typical Seasonal Events too. These include Hinamatsuri that began in February and will end on March 3rd, Pi Day, which begins March 1st, and runs for 2 weeks until March 14th, and finally April Fools Day, which adds items from March 26th through to April 1st, in preparation of the real world celebration.

We can purchase all the ACNH Items available alongside these Seasonal Events from the Nook Stop.

3. Seasonal Materials

Now, as I’m sure you’ve seen already, Spring has begun here in the Northern Hemisphere, and the Snow has completely melted. This Seasonal Change means Snowflakes are no-longer available.

However, Young Spring Bamboo is now spawning in their place. Young-Spring Bamboo can be got from Bamboo Trees alongside the normal Bamboo crafting materials.

Like every other crafting material, Young-Spring Bamboo brings with it a bunch of corresponding DIY Recipes which can of course be obtained primarily from Balloon Presents. Both the Materials and the Recipes will continue to be available until May 31st.

ACNH Seasonal Materials

For those in the Southern Hemisphere, Summer has now ended, and you can no-longer encounter Summer Shells. However, Autumn has arrived, and brings with it the Acorn & Pine Cone materials and recipes. These will be continue to be available until June 10th.

Don’t forget, if you still need Snowflakes or Summer Shells, or any of their recipes, you’ve now unlocked the corresponding Kapp’n Islands. Now the previous Seasons are over.

4. Weather Phenomena

Now, as with any new Season, we see a large shift in weather patterns, and Spring is, of course, no different. From the start of Spring, and continuing throughout March, Rain now falls instead of Snowfall, and brings with it the chance of Thunderstorms.

Thunderstorms are pretty rare, but typically on hours with heavy rain you have a chance of seeing lightning light up the island, as well as experiencing some extremely immersive thunder.

Anyway, now that Winter is over we can no-longer encounter Auroras or Heavy Fog around the New Horizons Island. However, now that we’re experiencing Rain, it means both Rainbows and Double Rainbows can be encountered instead.

5. Clouds

Now the Seasonal Changes around the New Horizons Island affect more than just the Weather Patterns. From March 1st, Billow Clouds can no-longer be encountered, with Thin Clouds taking their place. We can see these special clouds through to May 31st, which weirdly is the same time Young-Spring Bamboo also stops spawning.

It’s a little different for players in the Southern Hemisphere, as Cumulonimbus Clouds that began spawning in January, in the Summer, will continue through the Autumn, until mid march, at which point, Cirrus and Cirrocumulus Clouds spawn in their place. We can see these from March 16th through to May 31st.

6. Bushes

Now something I’ve always liked to highlight the details and timings of the Bushes. Just because it’s a pretty neat feature and helps players who wish to change up their Bushes according to the Season.

March is pretty simple though, as Pink and Red Camellia Bushes that are already in bloom for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, will continue to flower until the end of March.

Players in the Southern Hemisphere do get to see a change though as Red and Yellow Hibiscus will stop blooming on March 20, with Orange and Yellow Tea Olives flowering in their place. These will continue to bloom until the end of April.

7. Post Cards

Now, something that never really gets highlighted are of course the changes we see month to month at the Post Card stand, inside Dodo Airlines

Just like every new Month or Season, the Post Card stand is updated with new Seasonal and Event Designs. The Seasonal designs include Full-Bloom Card, the Cherry-Blossoms Card and the Dandelion Card. These are available from the beginning of Spring through to May 31st.

ACNH Post Cards

This month, there is only 1 Event design, which is of course the Bunny Day Card. This will become available from March 15th through to May 10th, in honour of Easter. These Designs can, of course, be used to write letters to your Villagers, if that’s something you like to do.

But even if not, it’s still worth checking out, just to see the new designs.

8. Critters

Moving on, I want to give an honourable mention to the Bugs, Fish and Deep-Sea Creatures

Just as you’d expect, a new month and a new Season, introduce the next wave of Critters that can be encountered around the New Horizons Island.

Players in the Northern Hemisphere can expect to see 20 new Critters, including the Barred Knifejaw, the Orchid Mantis and the Spider Crab, to name a few.

Similarly, players in the Southern Hemisphere can expect to see 22 new Critters, including the King Salmon, the Bell Cricket and the Sweet Shrimp, amongst others.

These numbers are significantly higher than usual simply because we’ve gone from one season to the next. So, it’s set to be a pleasant month for hunting critters if you’re still trying to complete your Museum

Anyway, all-in-all March is a fairly quiet month, especially seems Festivale fell in February and won’t be celebrated in March again until 2025.

New World: Huge New Event Coming! - Legacy Of Crassus

Today I want to bring you a piece of good news. Recently, New World has finally ushered in a brand new event. The event is called Legacy of Crassus, and it runs from February 21st to March 7th.

From the news officially released by New World, what we can know is that in this brand new event, we need to defeat the level 66 vicious brutes that can be seen everywhere in Aeternum to get specific items, such as Lucanus weapons and Decimus armor, standard weapons, armor, and consumables. Now, there’s no exact information on the overall stats and attributes of these weapons, yet. But again, I’m guessing they’re pretty decent if it’s event specific.

Here you should pay attention to one thing: if you want to get these rewards easily, then you have to cause at least 1000 damage to these brutes. I don’t think that’s going to be a vast deal for most people.

New World Legacy Of Crassus

And every day you’ll be able to get different rewards after defeating the world bosses. If you can defeat all the world bosses eight times, you’ll get all the rewards below:

  • Wrath of Decimus (Great Axe)
  • Hoplites Great Blade (Great Sword)
  • Cuirass of Decimus (Heavy Chest Armor)
  • Fists of Decimus (Heavy Gauntlets)
  • Sagittar of Lucanus (Bow)
  • Vesuvius (Fire Staff)
  • Galea of Lucanus (Medium Helm)
  • Hobnailed Boots of Lucanus (Medium Boots)

You will also get:

  • 1 - 3 Obsidian Gypsum
  • 500 Umbral Shards
  • A special Craft Mod that can help you add powerful effects to crafted items. (with 25% chance)

I can’t wait to get these items in my pocket. Maybe they’ve got some shirking fortification and resilient. What I believe is probably the most important add-on to the overall rewards loot rewards pool for this new event is that they called out a special craft mod that can add portable powerful effects to crafted items.

So, essentially, this sounds like this is going to become the new BIS, which means people need to craft with this item in order to get some sort of special new effect again. I am not sure what it is, but it sounds like based on this impact, it will have an overall impact on what is best in the slot.

New World Asmodeum

You know, we’ve got combat chain changes right around the corner, so that’s going to affect a lot of overall best and slot, as well. But regardless, I would not be surprised if you guys all saw Asmodeum prices over the next few weeks, especially with the overall just combat changes. People are going to be wanting to craft a lot more. I know on Orofena currently the Asmodeum prices are rock bottom. Hurry and stock up someduring this time. Purchase as much as you can with New World Coins because their prices are going to bump up a bit.

This event also calls out standard rewards so typically. Each victory rewards the player with either a random weapon or an armor piece at their level and that’s a 90 chance. But then, there’s a 10 chance of getting a specially named item from Brimstone Sands or greater Aeternum.

Undercovering The Truth Of Torchlight Infinite Monetization

Torchlight Infinite is an amazing action RPG heavily inspired by Path of Exile. And one thing I noticed is that many players won’t even try it because they assume that since you can also play it on your phone, it will have an aggressive monetization and be absolutely Pay-to-Win. For that matter, I’m here today to expose the facts about Torchlight Infinite’s monetization and share my opinion.

You can reach your own verdict in Torchlight Infinite. We have two types of premium currency, the Jagged Primocryst and the Primocryst.

Jagged Primocryst

Let’s talk about the Jagged Primocryst since you can receive them for free.

Here’s a list of what you can purchase with Jagged Primocryst. First, we have the Revival Token. You can use it to not lose experience when you die.

Following, we have the Elixir of Oblivion. It works as an Orb Of Regret. You use it to respec your Talent Tree even though you can purchase them here. I don’t recommend using a Jagged Primocryst on this because you drop many of them while playing and you can reset your passive skill tree as much as you want totally for free until Level 80.

Torchlight Infinite Jagged Primocryst

Another thing you can purchase is expansions for your inventory and stash. With Jagged Primocryst, you’ll also be able to summon Pact Spirits. But I’ll talk more about that later.

Every play you get many Jagged Primocryst while playing. You receive them on the Free Season Pass reaching Achievements as a compensation for every maintenance and getting the free package once a day in the shop.

However, you can get some more Jagged Primocryst if you pay for the Premium Season Pass or purchase the ticket to receive 60 Jagged Primocryst a day for 30 days.

Primocryst

Now, moving on to the other Premium Currencies, the Primocryst. This one you can only get by paying real money.

Primocryst can be used to purchase cosmetic items and expansions for your Auction House and early access to new Hero Traits.

Torchlight Infinite Primocryst

Another thing you can purchase with real money is the Premium Season Pass. As any season pass, this one grants many rewards for completing question and earning points. Among those rewards, we have Revival Tokens, Elixir of Oblivion, Jagged Primocryst, cosmetic items and early access to the new character, Erika.

It’s good to remind that every player has access to the Free Season Pass that grants all those rewards mentioned before, except for the cosmetic items in Erika.

My Opinion

In order to express my opinion on the matter, I’m going to use a scale based on my experience with many games. This scale goes from 0 to 10, when 0 is not Pay-to-Win at all and 10 is absolutely Pay-to-Win.

As an example of 0, we have the game Dota 2, where you can put as much money as you want and you won’t have any advantage at all. As an example of 10, we have Diablo Immortal that we all know that is aggressively Pay-to-Win. Using this scale, I would place Path of Exile as 1 because even though money won’t grant you power, any player that wants to take POE seriously must purchase at least a few Stash Tabs. Torchlight Infinite, however, I would place as a 2, because of Pack Spirits.

Now, it’s time to talk about them. Torchlight Infinite has a feature called Pact System. On the Pact Tree, we can find basic nodes. Those are attack defense and magic find nodes. You can use Pact Spirits to change those nodes. This way, you can mold the tree your way. For instance, you can transform your defense nodes into attack nodes using an offensive spirit.

The thing is, you’ll be able to summon many Pact Spirits for free or even purchase more using the Jagged Primocryst you also get for free. However, if you purchase a premium season pass or the ticket that grants the daily Jagged Primocryst or even the limited package that comes with 5 Summons.

You get more spirits, making it easier for them to level up. High level Spirits grant some bonuses to the nodes on your Pack Tree, thus making your character slightly stronger.

With all of that in mind, I wouldn’t characterize Torchlight Infinite as Pay to Win because spending lots of money would make you roughly stronger than other players since the Packed System is only one between many other Trees and ways to scale your damage on your character.

If you decide to spend some money on the game, I recommend you get in the Premium Season Pass. It has a great price for what it’s worth and grants you early access to the new character.

A new league started just a month ago, and it’s an amazing time to join now that you know all about the Torchlight Infinite monetization.

5 Things You Should Prioritize Every Day In Elder Scrolls Online

I'm sure you're well aware, there are a ton of things to do in ESO, from solo questing, to dungeons and trials, to PVP, to whatever this is, the vastness of the game can be overwhelming at times. So, today I'm going to try to provide some direction by going over five things that you should prioritize every day when you log in. For new and experienced players alike, but especially when you're first starting out, these everyday actions are great ways to gain experience, earn ESO Gold, and improve your overall ESO experience.

Now, this first item is pretty obvious, so I'm not going to count it as one of the five, but I'd feel remiss if I didn't at least mention grabbing your daily reward as often as possible. You can sometimes get some pretty great swag just for logging in on a daily basis. For example, the January's day 21 reward is 100k ESO Gold, which is a nice chunk of change for most players. Life happens, so don't beat yourself up if you don't get the bonus every day.

1. Crafting Writs

Okay, now let's move on to the real meat and potatoes of this list. Number one, and for many reasons, probably the most important thing you can start doing right away as a new player is crafting writs.

Daily writs are a great way to earn ESO Gold, improve your crafting skill lines, and gain valuable improvement materials, all of which will play a role in just about any goal you have in the game. Additionally, once you get to the maximum tier of crafting writs – that is, when you unlock the max level of each crafting skill and apply the requisite skill points – you'll sometimes receive master writs as rewards for completing those max tier normal writ quests. Master writs can be completed in exchange for writ vouchers, which can then be used to purchase some pretty awesome items.

To get started with crafting writs, you'll need to become certified in each of the crafting skill lines. Certification sounds a little daunting, but it's actually pretty simple. You'll just need to go to either Daggerfall, Davon's Watch, or Vulkhel Guard and find the certification quest givers. You'll find Millenith in the fighters guild for blacksmithing, clothing, and woodworking, and Danel Telleno in the mages guild for alchemy, enchanting, and provisioning.

ESO Millenith

These two quest givers can also be found in the capital cities of zones added by each Chapter. For jewelry crafting certification, you'll need to find Falarian in Alinor near the crafting area. Note that you must be level 6 before Falarian will appear, but you can talk to Millenith and Danel at any level in the base game zones. Once you're certified, you can find the crafting writ boards in any major city to start the daily quests.

In my opinion, the two best cities for crafting writs are Alinor and Rimmen, as all of the crafting stations are clustered close together. You'll usually find me doing my writs in Rimmen though, as the city's stablemaster is conveniently located between the crafting area and the writ delivery area.

2. Mount Training

That leads me into number two on the list: mount training. Is your mount's top speed slower than your jogging speed? Do you want to be able to sprint around like this? Well, once every 20 hours, you can pay a stablemaster to train your mount in either riding speed, carrying capacity, or stamina.

I highly recommend training all the way up to 60 in the following order: first riding speed, then carrying capacity, and finally stamina. It can be a long grind, but your quality of life will improve dramatically when you can just zip around while searching for skyshards, farming materials, or doing whatever else you're working on.

If you want to get that mount speed up right away, you have a couple of options, but there's only one thing that you can do to quickly improve your speed without spending a dime. The method is related to number 5 in this list, so stick around to find out what it is!

A couple of things to note are that riding speed training applies no matter which mount you're using on that character, and you don't have to be on your mount for the increased carrying capacity to kick in. Also keep in mind that mount training is character-specific, so always remember to get your training done early and often when you make new characters!

3. Trait Research

For our third spot, you always want to make sure you have as many crafting trait research timers going as possible. There are several reasons to research traits, so I'll just give you my top three.

First, as you learn more and more traits, you can help guildies by making gear for them. Or, if you're looking to make some ESO Gold, you can also sell your services as a crafter to other players.

Second, as you progress toward the endgame of ESO, you'll want the gear you use to have the proper trait. That gear won't usually drop in the trait you need, so you'll have to change the trait at a transmute station, and to do so, you'll need to have that trait researched for the respective item type.

And third, if you're interested in achievements and hope to one day obtain the Grand Master Crafter title, you'll need to have every trait researched on every item.

ESO Grand Master Crafter

The research grind is one of the longest in the game, but you can reduce the time it will take by investing a few skill points.

Each of the four gear-related crafting skill lines contains a passive, which reduces research times, and the blacksmithing, clothing, and woodworking passives also allow you to research up to three items at once. Taking these passives early on will help reduce your research grind immensely, so be sure to complete those crafting writs so you can level your crafting skills and unlock them as soon as possible.

4. Mages / Fighters Guild Dailies

Number four on the list is a topic that I don't see brought up enough: daily mages guild and fighters guild quests. The grinds to max out these skill lines are some of the most tedious in the game (especially that pesky mages guild). These daily quests can help break up the monotony by giving you something different to do other than searching for lore books or murdering hundreds of zombies to death.

If you haven't yet joined these guilds, you can do so at the mages and fighters guilds in Stone Falls, Glenumbra, or Auridon. After joining the associated guild, you can pick up these quests in the respective guild halls of any of the alliance capitals (that is, Mournhold, Wayrest, or Elden Root).

For the mages guild daily, you'll be tasked with recovering an artifact of Sheogorath from a random base zone public dungeon. After recovering the artifact, just turn it in to the quest giver and you'll be rewarded with ten experience points for your mages guild skill line.

ESO Elden Root

The fighters guild daily will require you to destroy three dark anchors in a random base game zone. You can just hit the same dolmen three times if you're not interested in exploring the zone, but I find it to be a little faster to go to three individual dolmens if you have wayshrines near them.

After destroying the requisite number of dark anchors, travel back to the quest giver to receive ten fighters guild experience points. You'll also gain additional experience points for each dolmen you destroy during the quest. While neither of these methods is the most efficient way to level the associated skill line, they do provide additional benefits on top of the variety and the experience gained. Completing each quest earns you a coffer containing random loot, and these containers also have a chance to drop a Draugr motif page.

5. Daily Dungeon & Battlegrounds

Our final spot on the list, and probably the most fun of out of the five, is completing your daily random dungeon and/or battlegrounds match.

There are a ton of great reasons why you should do your daily dungeon or battlegrounds, not the least of which is the hude experience gains you get from doing so. Additionally, you get several other rewards from these activities such as ESO Gold and/or alliance points, gear, and those all-too-valuable transmute crystals. You can even sometimes obtain achievements, mementos, and emotes just through random dungeons and battlegrounds!

As I mentioned before, you can improve your mount speed through this fifth daily exercise as well. After reaching rank 3 in the Assault skill line, which is improved by participating in PVP activities like battlegrounds, you can invest a skill point in the Continuous Attack passive, thereby increasing your mount speed by 30% at all times!

Another reason for completing daily dungeons and battlegrounds, although it might not apply to everyone, is that through doing so, you'll be teaching yourself the game's core mechanics, as well as the activity-specific mechanics of the particular dungeon or battleground you're in.

Gradually, as you gain more and more reps, you'll become better and better at the game as a whole! That experience you build over time will help you enjoy ESO more than any of the other items on this list.
