How To Use This Ash of War To Defeat Godfrey For Level 1 Elden Ring Beginners?

When you first enter the wonderful world of Elden Ring, you should realize that fighting various bosses is inevitable. With a huge world view and an open game mechanism, we can freely build characters and skills, which may lead to different performances of the same class in battle. When you are still a novice, you need to start your battle journey step by step to farm loot, such as runes, weapons and more.

In Elden Ring, the type of boss and the difficulty are actually not directly related. However, if we are lucky enough to kill a powerful boss, the rewards we can get are still very rich. But stop fantasizing, combat is not a 100% success rate thing. For example, if you need to face the most hard boss, Malenia, can you say that you can definitely defeat it? I estimate that no one can answer this question with great confidence. However, we can still defeat other seemingly powerful bosses, such as Godfrey, with some neat tricks.

Elden Ring Godfrey

This is The First Elden Lord in Elden Ring. Recently, a player posted a video on r/Eldenring of himself easily beating The First Elden Lord with “This Ash of War”. Here I will introduce to you what This Ash of War is. You can use this special item to replace your own equipped weapon skills and affinities, so the build you can create has more expansion options and is more suitable for everyone’s fighting style. If you learn how to use This Ash of War correctly, even defeating Malenia easily should no longer be difficult.

When this Elden Ring player fights Godfrey, it’s clear we can see the fight unfold in two phases. Initially, the player fought Godfrey using the Dismounter and the Ash of War called Lightning Slash, successfully dodging every attack and striking him hard at every turn. And when Godfrey is in the latter phase Hoarah Loux, you have to be careful at this point, because his attack can change drastically, and many people suffer here. Of course, although Godfrey at this stage looks particularly powerful in attack, his defense against lightning is not very strong, so we can use the Lightning Slash a perfect Ash of War, to kill him in one fell swoop. The trick to this whole fight is being able to spot Godfrey’s weak spots and understand how he moves.

Going back to the original topic, after more than a year of development in Elden Ring, players have gradually become more advanced in the development and exploration of in-game builds. If you encounter other more tough bosses in the future journey, you also need to focus on some smarter and less laborious methods, so as not to waste your precious resources and energy.

If you are currently suffering from a lack of sufficient Elden Ring Runes, Bundles, Consumables, Ash of wars and more items, you can use the code “CSCCA” to get 5% off Elden Ring all in-game products at IGGM.com. Just have a go!

What You Need To Know About Lost Ark Rowen

Beginning February 8th, Lost Ark was hosted a named “special event to celebrate the MMO’s one-year anniversary” This update welcomes a new section called Rowen in Lost Ark. You’ll encounter two competing factions: Preigelli and Liebertane, who compete for the precious crimson jewel of Arkesia, called Sylmael.

Lost Ark Rowen

If you unlock all of Rowen’s quests, then you’re eligible to pick one faction for open-world PvP. However, Amazon Games made a joke saying that “the battle has just begun, and the actual competition will continue to heat in March, when the Tulubik Battlefield will be available.” For those players who want to achieve excellent results and have better experience in the following activities, it is very necessary to reserve sufficient lost ark gold in advance.

Lost Ark event featured many familiar characters from The Witcher, such as Geralt, Yennefer, Triss, Dandelion and Ciri.

After ICYMI updated Wreck the Halls last December, Amazon and Smilegate released the first part of Lost Ark 2023 Roadmap. According to Amazon Games, the first Specialist Advanced Class, the Artist will be launched in this month. And, Artist Class will come in the next month. This time around, gamers in the west will see more revealingly dressed characters, and there may be surprises.

The Artist will also follow a Powerpass and Progression event similar to the one before. Amazon Games hope it can help new Artist mains to prepare for the coming April quickly.

Most recently, Amazon Games and Smilegate said they were correcting their erroneous bans on the Lost Ark players.Let us look forward to the changes in Lost Ark and the opening of a new chapter besides Rowan.

ACNH: 8 Updates & Changes You Should Know In March 2023

We have, of course, just entered the brand new month of March, which means we can expect to see a bunch of changes and updates all around the New Horizons Island. Today, we’ll cover everything you can expect to see, from Events to Materials, and even some of the smaller details we like to cover, such as the Bushes and new Weather Phenomena…

1. Shamrock Day

Now, given Festivale fell in the Winter, and was celebrated much earlier this year, March is a relatively quiet month on the Event front. However, we will get to celebrate Shamrock Day

Shamrock Day, is essentially a Seasonal Event, however, offers a bit more content than your typical seasonal celebration, and comes in 3 parts. From March 10th through to March 17th, the Shamrock Doorplate, Rug and Soda items can be purchased from the Nook Stop, in honour of the Event.

ACNH Shamrock Day

However, the celebrations can be taken a step further, as the Shamrock Suit, Shoes, Hat and Glasses will able be available throughout that week, from the Able Sisters, which is a nice little expansion to the Seasonal Event.

And finally, the DIY recipe for the Shamrock Wand is also available inside Balloon Presents for the week leading up to Shamrock Day itself. Collecting all of these makes for a super fun activity, especially for the newer players out there.

2. Seasonal Events

Now, speaking of limited-time items, March does see some of your typical Seasonal Events too. These include Hinamatsuri that began in February and will end on March 3rd, Pi Day, which begins March 1st, and runs for 2 weeks until March 14th, and finally April Fools Day, which adds items from March 26th through to April 1st, in preparation of the real world celebration.

We can purchase all the ACNH Items available alongside these Seasonal Events from the Nook Stop.

3. Seasonal Materials

Now, as I’m sure you’ve seen already, Spring has begun here in the Northern Hemisphere, and the Snow has completely melted. This Seasonal Change means Snowflakes are no-longer available.

However, Young Spring Bamboo is now spawning in their place. Young-Spring Bamboo can be got from Bamboo Trees alongside the normal Bamboo crafting materials.

Like every other crafting material, Young-Spring Bamboo brings with it a bunch of corresponding DIY Recipes which can of course be obtained primarily from Balloon Presents. Both the Materials and the Recipes will continue to be available until May 31st.

ACNH Seasonal Materials

For those in the Southern Hemisphere, Summer has now ended, and you can no-longer encounter Summer Shells. However, Autumn has arrived, and brings with it the Acorn & Pine Cone materials and recipes. These will be continue to be available until June 10th.

Don’t forget, if you still need Snowflakes or Summer Shells, or any of their recipes, you’ve now unlocked the corresponding Kapp’n Islands. Now the previous Seasons are over.

4. Weather Phenomena

Now, as with any new Season, we see a large shift in weather patterns, and Spring is, of course, no different. From the start of Spring, and continuing throughout March, Rain now falls instead of Snowfall, and brings with it the chance of Thunderstorms.

Thunderstorms are pretty rare, but typically on hours with heavy rain you have a chance of seeing lightning light up the island, as well as experiencing some extremely immersive thunder.

Anyway, now that Winter is over we can no-longer encounter Auroras or Heavy Fog around the New Horizons Island. However, now that we’re experiencing Rain, it means both Rainbows and Double Rainbows can be encountered instead.

5. Clouds

Now the Seasonal Changes around the New Horizons Island affect more than just the Weather Patterns. From March 1st, Billow Clouds can no-longer be encountered, with Thin Clouds taking their place. We can see these special clouds through to May 31st, which weirdly is the same time Young-Spring Bamboo also stops spawning.

It’s a little different for players in the Southern Hemisphere, as Cumulonimbus Clouds that began spawning in January, in the Summer, will continue through the Autumn, until mid march, at which point, Cirrus and Cirrocumulus Clouds spawn in their place. We can see these from March 16th through to May 31st.

6. Bushes

Now something I’ve always liked to highlight the details and timings of the Bushes. Just because it’s a pretty neat feature and helps players who wish to change up their Bushes according to the Season.

March is pretty simple though, as Pink and Red Camellia Bushes that are already in bloom for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, will continue to flower until the end of March.

Players in the Southern Hemisphere do get to see a change though as Red and Yellow Hibiscus will stop blooming on March 20, with Orange and Yellow Tea Olives flowering in their place. These will continue to bloom until the end of April.

7. Post Cards

Now, something that never really gets highlighted are of course the changes we see month to month at the Post Card stand, inside Dodo Airlines

Just like every new Month or Season, the Post Card stand is updated with new Seasonal and Event Designs. The Seasonal designs include Full-Bloom Card, the Cherry-Blossoms Card and the Dandelion Card. These are available from the beginning of Spring through to May 31st.

ACNH Post Cards

This month, there is only 1 Event design, which is of course the Bunny Day Card. This will become available from March 15th through to May 10th, in honour of Easter. These Designs can, of course, be used to write letters to your Villagers, if that’s something you like to do.

But even if not, it’s still worth checking out, just to see the new designs.

8. Critters

Moving on, I want to give an honourable mention to the Bugs, Fish and Deep-Sea Creatures

Just as you’d expect, a new month and a new Season, introduce the next wave of Critters that can be encountered around the New Horizons Island.

Players in the Northern Hemisphere can expect to see 20 new Critters, including the Barred Knifejaw, the Orchid Mantis and the Spider Crab, to name a few.

Similarly, players in the Southern Hemisphere can expect to see 22 new Critters, including the King Salmon, the Bell Cricket and the Sweet Shrimp, amongst others.

These numbers are significantly higher than usual simply because we’ve gone from one season to the next. So, it’s set to be a pleasant month for hunting critters if you’re still trying to complete your Museum

Anyway, all-in-all March is a fairly quiet month, especially seems Festivale fell in February and won’t be celebrated in March again until 2025.

New World: Huge New Event Coming! - Legacy Of Crassus

Today I want to bring you a piece of good news. Recently, New World has finally ushered in a brand new event. The event is called Legacy of Crassus, and it runs from February 21st to March 7th.

From the news officially released by New World, what we can know is that in this brand new event, we need to defeat the level 66 vicious brutes that can be seen everywhere in Aeternum to get specific items, such as Lucanus weapons and Decimus armor, standard weapons, armor, and consumables. Now, there’s no exact information on the overall stats and attributes of these weapons, yet. But again, I’m guessing they’re pretty decent if it’s event specific.

Here you should pay attention to one thing: if you want to get these rewards easily, then you have to cause at least 1000 damage to these brutes. I don’t think that’s going to be a vast deal for most people.

New World Legacy Of Crassus

And every day you’ll be able to get different rewards after defeating the world bosses. If you can defeat all the world bosses eight times, you’ll get all the rewards below:

  • Wrath of Decimus (Great Axe)
  • Hoplites Great Blade (Great Sword)
  • Cuirass of Decimus (Heavy Chest Armor)
  • Fists of Decimus (Heavy Gauntlets)
  • Sagittar of Lucanus (Bow)
  • Vesuvius (Fire Staff)
  • Galea of Lucanus (Medium Helm)
  • Hobnailed Boots of Lucanus (Medium Boots)

You will also get:

  • 1 - 3 Obsidian Gypsum
  • 500 Umbral Shards
  • A special Craft Mod that can help you add powerful effects to crafted items. (with 25% chance)

I can’t wait to get these items in my pocket. Maybe they’ve got some shirking fortification and resilient. What I believe is probably the most important add-on to the overall rewards loot rewards pool for this new event is that they called out a special craft mod that can add portable powerful effects to crafted items.

So, essentially, this sounds like this is going to become the new BIS, which means people need to craft with this item in order to get some sort of special new effect again. I am not sure what it is, but it sounds like based on this impact, it will have an overall impact on what is best in the slot.

New World Asmodeum

You know, we’ve got combat chain changes right around the corner, so that’s going to affect a lot of overall best and slot, as well. But regardless, I would not be surprised if you guys all saw Asmodeum prices over the next few weeks, especially with the overall just combat changes. People are going to be wanting to craft a lot more. I know on Orofena currently the Asmodeum prices are rock bottom. Hurry and stock up someduring this time. Purchase as much as you can with New World Coins because their prices are going to bump up a bit.

This event also calls out standard rewards so typically. Each victory rewards the player with either a random weapon or an armor piece at their level and that’s a 90 chance. But then, there’s a 10 chance of getting a specially named item from Brimstone Sands or greater Aeternum.

Undercovering The Truth Of Torchlight Infinite Monetization

Torchlight Infinite is an amazing action RPG heavily inspired by Path of Exile. And one thing I noticed is that many players won’t even try it because they assume that since you can also play it on your phone, it will have an aggressive monetization and be absolutely Pay-to-Win. For that matter, I’m here today to expose the facts about Torchlight Infinite’s monetization and share my opinion.

You can reach your own verdict in Torchlight Infinite. We have two types of premium currency, the Jagged Primocryst and the Primocryst.

Jagged Primocryst

Let’s talk about the Jagged Primocryst since you can receive them for free.

Here’s a list of what you can purchase with Jagged Primocryst. First, we have the Revival Token. You can use it to not lose experience when you die.

Following, we have the Elixir of Oblivion. It works as an Orb Of Regret. You use it to respec your Talent Tree even though you can purchase them here. I don’t recommend using a Jagged Primocryst on this because you drop many of them while playing and you can reset your passive skill tree as much as you want totally for free until Level 80.

Torchlight Infinite Jagged Primocryst

Another thing you can purchase is expansions for your inventory and stash. With Jagged Primocryst, you’ll also be able to summon Pact Spirits. But I’ll talk more about that later.

Every play you get many Jagged Primocryst while playing. You receive them on the Free Season Pass reaching Achievements as a compensation for every maintenance and getting the free package once a day in the shop.

However, you can get some more Jagged Primocryst if you pay for the Premium Season Pass or purchase the ticket to receive 60 Jagged Primocryst a day for 30 days.

Primocryst

Now, moving on to the other Premium Currencies, the Primocryst. This one you can only get by paying real money.

Primocryst can be used to purchase cosmetic items and expansions for your Auction House and early access to new Hero Traits.

Torchlight Infinite Primocryst

Another thing you can purchase with real money is the Premium Season Pass. As any season pass, this one grants many rewards for completing question and earning points. Among those rewards, we have Revival Tokens, Elixir of Oblivion, Jagged Primocryst, cosmetic items and early access to the new character, Erika.

It’s good to remind that every player has access to the Free Season Pass that grants all those rewards mentioned before, except for the cosmetic items in Erika.

My Opinion

In order to express my opinion on the matter, I’m going to use a scale based on my experience with many games. This scale goes from 0 to 10, when 0 is not Pay-to-Win at all and 10 is absolutely Pay-to-Win.

As an example of 0, we have the game Dota 2, where you can put as much money as you want and you won’t have any advantage at all. As an example of 10, we have Diablo Immortal that we all know that is aggressively Pay-to-Win. Using this scale, I would place Path of Exile as 1 because even though money won’t grant you power, any player that wants to take POE seriously must purchase at least a few Stash Tabs. Torchlight Infinite, however, I would place as a 2, because of Pack Spirits.

Now, it’s time to talk about them. Torchlight Infinite has a feature called Pact System. On the Pact Tree, we can find basic nodes. Those are attack defense and magic find nodes. You can use Pact Spirits to change those nodes. This way, you can mold the tree your way. For instance, you can transform your defense nodes into attack nodes using an offensive spirit.

The thing is, you’ll be able to summon many Pact Spirits for free or even purchase more using the Jagged Primocryst you also get for free. However, if you purchase a premium season pass or the ticket that grants the daily Jagged Primocryst or even the limited package that comes with 5 Summons.

You get more spirits, making it easier for them to level up. High level Spirits grant some bonuses to the nodes on your Pack Tree, thus making your character slightly stronger.

With all of that in mind, I wouldn’t characterize Torchlight Infinite as Pay to Win because spending lots of money would make you roughly stronger than other players since the Packed System is only one between many other Trees and ways to scale your damage on your character.

If you decide to spend some money on the game, I recommend you get in the Premium Season Pass. It has a great price for what it’s worth and grants you early access to the new character.

A new league started just a month ago, and it’s an amazing time to join now that you know all about the Torchlight Infinite monetization.

5 Things You Should Prioritize Every Day In Elder Scrolls Online

I'm sure you're well aware, there are a ton of things to do in ESO, from solo questing, to dungeons and trials, to PVP, to whatever this is, the vastness of the game can be overwhelming at times. So, today I'm going to try to provide some direction by going over five things that you should prioritize every day when you log in. For new and experienced players alike, but especially when you're first starting out, these everyday actions are great ways to gain experience, earn ESO Gold, and improve your overall ESO experience.

Now, this first item is pretty obvious, so I'm not going to count it as one of the five, but I'd feel remiss if I didn't at least mention grabbing your daily reward as often as possible. You can sometimes get some pretty great swag just for logging in on a daily basis. For example, the January's day 21 reward is 100k ESO Gold, which is a nice chunk of change for most players. Life happens, so don't beat yourself up if you don't get the bonus every day.

1. Crafting Writs

Okay, now let's move on to the real meat and potatoes of this list. Number one, and for many reasons, probably the most important thing you can start doing right away as a new player is crafting writs.

Daily writs are a great way to earn ESO Gold, improve your crafting skill lines, and gain valuable improvement materials, all of which will play a role in just about any goal you have in the game. Additionally, once you get to the maximum tier of crafting writs – that is, when you unlock the max level of each crafting skill and apply the requisite skill points – you'll sometimes receive master writs as rewards for completing those max tier normal writ quests. Master writs can be completed in exchange for writ vouchers, which can then be used to purchase some pretty awesome items.

To get started with crafting writs, you'll need to become certified in each of the crafting skill lines. Certification sounds a little daunting, but it's actually pretty simple. You'll just need to go to either Daggerfall, Davon's Watch, or Vulkhel Guard and find the certification quest givers. You'll find Millenith in the fighters guild for blacksmithing, clothing, and woodworking, and Danel Telleno in the mages guild for alchemy, enchanting, and provisioning.

ESO Millenith

These two quest givers can also be found in the capital cities of zones added by each Chapter. For jewelry crafting certification, you'll need to find Falarian in Alinor near the crafting area. Note that you must be level 6 before Falarian will appear, but you can talk to Millenith and Danel at any level in the base game zones. Once you're certified, you can find the crafting writ boards in any major city to start the daily quests.

In my opinion, the two best cities for crafting writs are Alinor and Rimmen, as all of the crafting stations are clustered close together. You'll usually find me doing my writs in Rimmen though, as the city's stablemaster is conveniently located between the crafting area and the writ delivery area.

2. Mount Training

That leads me into number two on the list: mount training. Is your mount's top speed slower than your jogging speed? Do you want to be able to sprint around like this? Well, once every 20 hours, you can pay a stablemaster to train your mount in either riding speed, carrying capacity, or stamina.

I highly recommend training all the way up to 60 in the following order: first riding speed, then carrying capacity, and finally stamina. It can be a long grind, but your quality of life will improve dramatically when you can just zip around while searching for skyshards, farming materials, or doing whatever else you're working on.

If you want to get that mount speed up right away, you have a couple of options, but there's only one thing that you can do to quickly improve your speed without spending a dime. The method is related to number 5 in this list, so stick around to find out what it is!

A couple of things to note are that riding speed training applies no matter which mount you're using on that character, and you don't have to be on your mount for the increased carrying capacity to kick in. Also keep in mind that mount training is character-specific, so always remember to get your training done early and often when you make new characters!

3. Trait Research

For our third spot, you always want to make sure you have as many crafting trait research timers going as possible. There are several reasons to research traits, so I'll just give you my top three.

First, as you learn more and more traits, you can help guildies by making gear for them. Or, if you're looking to make some ESO Gold, you can also sell your services as a crafter to other players.

Second, as you progress toward the endgame of ESO, you'll want the gear you use to have the proper trait. That gear won't usually drop in the trait you need, so you'll have to change the trait at a transmute station, and to do so, you'll need to have that trait researched for the respective item type.

And third, if you're interested in achievements and hope to one day obtain the Grand Master Crafter title, you'll need to have every trait researched on every item.

ESO Grand Master Crafter

The research grind is one of the longest in the game, but you can reduce the time it will take by investing a few skill points.

Each of the four gear-related crafting skill lines contains a passive, which reduces research times, and the blacksmithing, clothing, and woodworking passives also allow you to research up to three items at once. Taking these passives early on will help reduce your research grind immensely, so be sure to complete those crafting writs so you can level your crafting skills and unlock them as soon as possible.

4. Mages / Fighters Guild Dailies

Number four on the list is a topic that I don't see brought up enough: daily mages guild and fighters guild quests. The grinds to max out these skill lines are some of the most tedious in the game (especially that pesky mages guild). These daily quests can help break up the monotony by giving you something different to do other than searching for lore books or murdering hundreds of zombies to death.

If you haven't yet joined these guilds, you can do so at the mages and fighters guilds in Stone Falls, Glenumbra, or Auridon. After joining the associated guild, you can pick up these quests in the respective guild halls of any of the alliance capitals (that is, Mournhold, Wayrest, or Elden Root).

For the mages guild daily, you'll be tasked with recovering an artifact of Sheogorath from a random base zone public dungeon. After recovering the artifact, just turn it in to the quest giver and you'll be rewarded with ten experience points for your mages guild skill line.

ESO Elden Root

The fighters guild daily will require you to destroy three dark anchors in a random base game zone. You can just hit the same dolmen three times if you're not interested in exploring the zone, but I find it to be a little faster to go to three individual dolmens if you have wayshrines near them.

After destroying the requisite number of dark anchors, travel back to the quest giver to receive ten fighters guild experience points. You'll also gain additional experience points for each dolmen you destroy during the quest. While neither of these methods is the most efficient way to level the associated skill line, they do provide additional benefits on top of the variety and the experience gained. Completing each quest earns you a coffer containing random loot, and these containers also have a chance to drop a Draugr motif page.

5. Daily Dungeon & Battlegrounds

Our final spot on the list, and probably the most fun of out of the five, is completing your daily random dungeon and/or battlegrounds match.

There are a ton of great reasons why you should do your daily dungeon or battlegrounds, not the least of which is the hude experience gains you get from doing so. Additionally, you get several other rewards from these activities such as ESO Gold and/or alliance points, gear, and those all-too-valuable transmute crystals. You can even sometimes obtain achievements, mementos, and emotes just through random dungeons and battlegrounds!

As I mentioned before, you can improve your mount speed through this fifth daily exercise as well. After reaching rank 3 in the Assault skill line, which is improved by participating in PVP activities like battlegrounds, you can invest a skill point in the Continuous Attack passive, thereby increasing your mount speed by 30% at all times!

Another reason for completing daily dungeons and battlegrounds, although it might not apply to everyone, is that through doing so, you'll be teaching yourself the game's core mechanics, as well as the activity-specific mechanics of the particular dungeon or battleground you're in.

Gradually, as you gain more and more reps, you'll become better and better at the game as a whole! That experience you build over time will help you enjoy ESO more than any of the other items on this list.

Diablo 2 Resurrected Ladder: Season 3 Is Going To Begin

If you no longer want to play Diablo 2 Resurrected's ladder economy and would like to reset the leaderboard, you will be able to do so soon. The next ladder season will start on February 16th.

As is customary with Season 1 and Season 2, the new ladder will include new content not found in Diablo 2. Season 3 or patch 2.6 will add eight new runewords. Most of these new runewords are easy to come by, although some may have never seen a high rune drop. And only one high rune needs a runeword, that is Metamorphosis. Runewords can provide some stats that are beneficial for melee-driven builds, such as crushing blows, and cannot be frozen. However, crafting Metamorphosis by getting Cham runes is hard. Overall, these new runewords are great for players who like to play the game in single player.

D2R Season 3

At present, whether non-Ladder or Single Player users can use legal means to get Sunder Charms, there is no news yet.

Since its first ranked season, Diablo 2 Resurrected has been adding new content to its ardent fans. This includes 8 new runewords, introducing a new endgame activity and reworking under utilized skills. Players can also use some equipment obtained through D2R Ladder Items to increase their chances of winning. From these contents, we can see that Season 3 seems to follow the pace of Season 1 and Season 2.

In addition to Diablo 2 Resurrected, Blizzard is working on another Diablo project, which will be released this year. Currently, June 6th is the confirmed release date for Diablo IV. Compatible with previous and current generations of Xbox and PlayStation consoles, it will also feature the series' origin platform: PC.

Since 2012, the next major entry in Diablo series will be Diablo IV. Diablo III was released as a PC exclusive game that year.

Elden Ring: New DLC May Be In Development

In 2022, FromSoftware's Elden Ring took the gaming world by storm, and it's still going strong a year later. The content of this game is very rich, enough to keep you spending hours on it. But recently it has been improved and some free updates have made it even more popular.

202302061014508359.webp

Reportedly, Elden Ring never received any paid DLCs. That could change in the future, if this new DLC rumor is to be believed. Today we have PvP mode, the new Colosseum arena, some weapon balance patches, and some new quests. To enhance your gaming experience and increase your chances of winning, there are some Elden Ring Runes that can be used while playing. However, the latest comments from folks on Elden Ring suggest FromSoftware may be working on a major DLC update that could add some significant content to Elden Ring. That's pretty reasonable for a game of this size.

Recently, a Reddit user ApprehensiveTop8927 made a post on Reddit that attracted a lot of attention and sparked a lively discussion about the game. The OP shared a screenshot, which shows a Discord transition between popular Elden Ring Twitch streamer Lance McDonald and user Abraham Link. Lance claimed in the talk that a "huge DLC" is coming to Elden Ring. He also said that the appearance of "huge DLC" may expand the game's map. But he also added that while he "knows a lot of what's been added", he doesn't know much about the new game mechanics.

Not long ago, some data mining workers entered the files of Elden Ring and discovered the rumored new DLC, namely new bosses, dungeons and areas. Thus, it can be proved that Lance's news is reliable. Despite this, FromSoftware has not made an official response to the news of the development of DLC. Currently, the new game Armored Core 6 is in the development process of FromSoftware. The new game is expected to be released later this year and showed at the Taiwan Game Show.

As one of FromSoftware's main games, Armored Core 6 will be the focus of this year. In the meantime, the studio may, in order not to divert your attention, use Elden Ring DLC sometime after the release of the new game Armored Core 6.

Path Of Exile: The Clearance Tutorial Of The Maven's Questline

The criterion that will determine if you are a hardcore Path of Exile player is if you can complete The Maven's Questline. Throughout the questline, you'll fight several high-level bosses. After defeating those enemies, you can collect a lot of loot, such as Divine Orbs, weapons, armor, etc., and then reach Maven. However, for POE beginners, completing The Maven's Questline is not a simple task. The following is the most convenient detailed tutorial for players to pass the level:

POE The Maven

1. Before you play The Maven's Questline, you need to find an NPC named The Envoy on Yellow Maps (T6+). When you find it, according to The Envoy's request, kill the current map bosses that are easy to beat for solo classes, and The Maven's Beacon will drop. In Permanent Leagues, The Envoy will give you The Maven's Beacon only if you don't kill the boss.

Only after using The Maven's Beacon can you upgrade your Map Device that can be got after completing The Chamber of Sins in Act 7. You will find a button on your map device that can summon Maven to appear, and then let her see you defeat the three bosses of different levels.

2. When you kill a certain number of bosses on Tier maps, you can summon Maven through The Maven's Beacon. Then, Maven will send you The Maven's Invitation: The Atlas, and it will teleport you to Maven's Crucible.

Inside Maven's Crucible, if you want to reach the next step of The Maven's questline, you need to kill multiple bosses and you have to repeat these steps continuously to reach Maven that is more difficult each time. For this, we recommend that you use a more powerful build. You can get more powerful gear with POE Currency, or build with Slayer Super Cyclone or Assassin Freezing Pulse.

Note: we can only perform these tasks when The Maven is present. So, make sure you summon Maven first, then defeat any of Map Bosses.

3. Before you fight The Maven, you need to craft The Maven's Writ, which may be dropped from The Crucible Area Level 83, but it has a slight chance of dropping. And The Maven's Writ comprises 10 Crescent Splinters. So, you need to farm this Crucible Area multiple times to collect the Crescent Splinters dropped by The Crucible Area Level 83.

Although The Maven is tough to beat, a good Scion Class can beat her. After you defeat The Maven, the task is almost complete. If you want to fight her one more time, you can challenge her again as long as you have The Maven's Writ.

The Last of Us Part II: Miracle of the Ninth Art? or Just a Rubbish?

TGA, aka The Game Awards, has been successfully completed a few days ago. With heart beating brand new game trailers, Great battle between Elden Ring and God of War Ragnarök, and of course Bill Clinton win the Game of the Year, it is hard to express that TGA 2022 is not good enough.

Currently lot of people put their sight further, predicting 2023 game industry form, and dig into overhaul technology to game immersions. But from my perspective, with a new TV series released, maybe it is the perfect timing to rewind a little bit to a massive controversial games two years age, I bet you guys already feel what I want to discuss, the Game of the Year 2020, The last of Us II.

20The Last of Us Part II: Miracle of the Ninth Art? or Just a Rubbish?ng

Gameplay and Vision Performance

There is much to admire in Naughty Dog's ultra-dark revenge video game The Last Of Us Part II. And there is much to critique. The devs who poured their blood, sweat and tears into the game deserve praise for its technical achievements. The writers who mangled the story deserve the lumps that follow.

Despite its gore and violence, The Last Of Us Part II is a beautiful game, with renditions of post-apocalyptic Seattle and Santa Barbara that are simply staggering in detail and scope. The sights and sounds of this game are lush and lovely, gruesome and harrowing. In terms of presentation, The Last Of Us Part II is easily one of the best of the current generation.

The first game didn't have much going for it in the gameplay department, neither game is particularly strong as an action/shooter, and each forces players to spend far too much time tediously picking up odds and ends in order to craft bombs and med, kits, and ammo for your routinely empty firearms. (There's a setting that makes this somewhat less tedious in the sequel). But I do love the process of gun transformation in The Last Of Us Part II, absolutely vivid and attractive, hint how much developers paid on in-game details. So when it comes to gameplay, both games are fine.

20The Last of Us Part II: Miracle of the Ninth Art? or Just a Rubbish?gaw

Comparing the previous version, The Last Of Us Part II did an amazing update, open world, more characters, more weapons and fight systems. But we both know the result - most controversial game among the play community, two groups of players totally stand the opposite sides, no one can convince each others, even after two year those controversies still exist. What led to this situation?

Disastrous Narrative

There is only one correct answer to the question "How many lives would you sacrifice to save humanity?"

For the Last Of Us Part I, lackluster gameplay was more than made up for by a compelling story filled with complex characters in a gritty, intriguing post-apocalyptic world. It didn't hurt that it also had one of the best endings in video games, period.

It was an ending that deserved to be just that, the end of Joel and Ellie's story, unresolved and bittersweet. Brittle and precarious and powerful all at once. A happy ending in many ways, but an unsettling one, too.

Joel's was a lie told out of love, but it was still a lie. He kept that secret for the same reason he rescued Ellie from the Fireflies. Because he couldn't stand to lose his daughter. Not again.

That same lie kicks off the events in The Last Of Us Part II, but it quickly runs roughshod over everything we loved about the first game, trampling even our high opinions of the protagonists in the process. What follows is a too-pretentious-by-half story of nonsensical revenge and relentless violence. It masquerades at depth and meaning but fails to deliver either.

For Naughty Dog, the Sony-owned studio behind the series, the safe thing to do from a financial standpoint would have been to continue the first game's story in a predictable way that kept fans happy, as the makers of Marvel and Star Wars movies have done so profitably. But The Last of Us Part II does nothing of the sort. Instead, the punishingly bleak sequel kills off the original's main character and turns the secondary hero into a villain. It takes violence to a level that is uncomfortable even by the standards of video games, and seemingly does everything in its power to make gamers feel bad about the act of playing it.

Arrogant Screenwriter

Enough Budget, amazing technology, outstanding characters, charming views, tons of fans, why The Last of Us Part II step into the black hole? Just one single fool, selfish writer is enough, Neil Druckmann.

20221216154128The Last of Us Part II: Miracle of the Ninth Art? or Just a Rubbish?ng

Revenge can be fun. John Wick does "fun revenge" very well. I remember watching Braveheart for the first time and William Wallace's revenge was thrilling. But the moral of the story in serious works of fiction is that revenge is bitter (not bittersweet) and never quite plays out the way you'd hoped. It creates a cycle of violence that hurts everyone caught up in its wake. Hamlet is consumed by his desire for revenge - prompted by the ghost of his father - but in the end it just means that everyone dies, including innocents like Polonius and Ophelia and, though she's perhaps a little less innocent, Hamlet's mother as well. Revenge, like that green-eyed monster, jealousy, is dangerous. Something to be avoided if at all possible. Even justifiable revenge, kill can lead to all sorts of problems.

What this game needed in the end was grace. The kind of strange, unsettling thing that comes over someone when they suddenly realize something profound and choose to take a different path. When Ellie sees her emaciated enemy hanging from a poll and, instead of feeling gleeful satisfaction, feels only horror and pity, she acted with grace and mercy and, in that moment, became the person we hoped she would become. It was never about killing Abby. It was about Ellie finding her own redemption.

And then they throw it all away.

Two angry, beat up, half-dead murderesses slicing each other over and over again in the shallows, blood and saltwater spraying everywhere, until suddenly Ellie gives up and let's Abby go. Again. I'm not one to usually criticize games for their violence, but this felt exploitative to me. And redundant. All that potential for mercy and grace lost.

The ending could have worked with mercy or revenge as the outcome, but apparently the writers had trouble making up their minds about which direction they wanted to go, and decided to try and have their cake and eat it, too. The result feels sloppy, repetitive and frustrating.

Overall Review

The Last of Us Part II is one of the toughest gaming experiences I've ever endured, and writing about that experience is equally difficult. I loved the original Last of Us despite the story far outshining the gameplay, but thought it didn't need a sequel. The ambiguity of Ellie's final word, "Okay," before the credits rolled earned The Last of Us a top spot for best video game endings of all time.

Furthermore, the sort of hate that is being leveled at the game itself is primarily homophobic, misogynistic, and transphobic in nature - attitudes beneath contempt. Unfortunately, that disturbing and abusive behavior has been conflated by Naughty Dog - and Neil Druckmann in particular - with respectful criticism of the game itself, notably the writing and pacing issues that I personally found grating. Moments in this game are exceptional, thus the devil deserves to be given its due before exorcising it.

202The Last of Us Part II: Miracle of the Ninth Art? or Just a Rubbish?png

Undoubtedly, The Last of Us Part II will be fondly remembered as the Playstation 4's swan song in the way that the original Last of Us game was for the Playstation 3. Purely in terms of technical achievement, Part II is a must-play for owners of the current generation consoles, and our own Andy Webb reviewed this game as "groundbreaking."

But in terms of narrative, I almost wish that Part II was never made, that the original game would forever live on as lightning in a bottle, the one zombie game that rose to the cream of the crop in an overly saturated genre. And though the sequel has moments of greatness that occasionally top the original, Part II leaving me cold at the idea of any future Last of Us games.

How To Marry Your Favorite NPC In Stardew Valley?

As a very good pixel game, Stardew Valley has a lot of new players because of its excellent plot and various ways of playing, and the old players have been unable to let it go. I am a big fan of this game.

If you are new to this game, you must not know that you can marry NPCs in it, right? Today, I will introduce to you in detail how to marry your favorite NPC in Stardew Valley.

how to marry in Stardew Valley

When the favorability between the player and the villagers reaches the level of best friends (10 hearts), they can get married. Regardless of whether it is a man or a woman, the marriageable object has a "single" status in the social key. To fall in love, the player must purchase a special bouquet from Pierre's General Store, which will only be sold after the player's friendship with any marriageable NPC reaches eight hearts.

After the favorability reaches eight hearts, the player must send a bouquet to unlock the 10-heart limit, so that the favorability can continue to rise. And then you can send gifts normally to increase the favorability. In the old version, multiple bouquets can be sent to the same NPC in one day. And the bouquets are not counted in the number of gifts, and each gift can increase 25 points of favorability (1/10 heart).

After a recent update, the same NPC can only be gifted a bouquet once during a relationship. You can send bouquets to multiple NPCs at one time, and the favorability of each NPC will not be affected unless the player is married. After sending a bouquet to an NPC, an icon of the bouquet will appear next to the avatar of the corresponding NPC in the Favorability List, and indicate "Boyfriend" or "Girlfriend". After sending the NPC bouquet, if you don't send the NPC gift for a period of time, the favorability will drop.

You can buy a Mermaid Pendant from Old Mariner

If you want to get engaged, you must send a Mermaid Pendant. It is a token of love, you can get married immediately after giving it to a specific person. Players can buy the Mermaid Pendant at the Old Mariner on the beach for 5,000 gold.

To find him, you must meet the following requirements. First, you need to repair the wooden bridge with 300 lumber. The second is that you have to upgrade the farmhouse at least once. Under normal circumstances, the Old Mariner only appears in rainy days (spring, summer and autumn). If you want to get married in winter, you can use the totem to pray for rain and make the Old Mariner appear.

The wedding was held early in the morning three days after the proposal. After the ceremony, the player and spouse will return to the hallway of the farmhouse at 6:00 am. If an event like festival or farm house completion occurs, the wedding will be skipped.

With the continuous update of Stardew Valley, the game has added many new elements in the link of marriage. The developer confirmed that in version 1.1, Shane and Emily will be added to the marriageable objects. In version 1.3, online players can be married, and can buy the formula for wedding rings in the travel cart. And the wedding ceremony can be held in the morning after giving the ring and three days after the engagement.

Is New World Worth Playing In 2023?

New World is an MMORPG launching on September 28, 2021. The background of the game is set on the fictional supernatural world of Aeternum Island in the 17th century. Players will explore and fight, build their own characters, and create another self among three factions that are constantly vying for towns and territories.

The environment and picture creation of New World are expressed in an open 3D form. The vision is exquisite and can even be used as a wallpaper. And the character modeling is also very good. The game tells why players want to go to Aeternum Island at the beginning. A person whose body has changed found the captain and told the story about Aeternum Island, so the captain went to that mysterious place. But when he arrived, the captain's fleet encountered the situation that the person told. Afterwards, the player encounters the corrupted captain.

Following the quest process, players can gradually understand and experience the world. And the main line and branch lines basically follow the consistent process of massively multiplayer online games. Specifically, it is collecting items, killing monsters, and talking with NPCs. In addition, there are various tasks related to city construction and faction reputation, etc. Through these, players can find suitable weapons and complete the tasks they want and trade with other players.

New World has three factions

Players can join three different factions, the Syndicate, Covenant, and Marauders. These three factions are constantly fighting for control of towns and territories. And as players, we also belong to different camps after choosing our own faction, and jointly complete the construction of towns and produce goods. Players can also buy houses and settle in their own faction.

Weapons

The novice tutorial of the game is more detailed. Players can use different weapons to attack, and each weapon has its own proficiency. After using the weapon frequently, you can gain skills and upgrade them. It can be said that the game does not have a specific profession, and it can also be said that the weapon used is the profession. Of course, weapons and tools have a certain endurance, and they will be damaged after the endurance is consumed.

Depending on the weapon you use, you can also change your professions. The profession is divided into two types: long-range and melee. Such as long-range Fire Magic, Life Magic, Ice Magic, Bow, Musket, and melee Sword and Shield, Greatsword, Hatchet, Spear, Great Axe, and War Hammer.

Each weapon can be equipped with three skills, such as Fire Magic's Fire's Reach, Sword and Shield's Reverse Stab, etc. The three skills are released during the battle and the specific three skills are selected by the player. Have different cooldowns. At the same time, after the character is upgraded, the attribute points also affect the player's use of weapons. Each weapon has two branches of combat skills, the main skill and the passive skill. The rich skill tree system makes the weapon skills of this game a feature, and it is also a point that impresses me deeply.

Survive

In fact, many construction games have a survival mode, and this game integrates it. In the game, players can carry out mining, hunting, skinning, logging, harvesting and fishing that survival games have. And these form different life skills. Players can choose what they like to improve their proficiency. As the level increases, more collectible items and resources that can be detected will be unlocked. At the same time, we can collect resources in the wild to make bonfires to make medicines and rest to restore health. In addition to using potions, your HP can also be recovered by hunting, making food and drinking water, which is quite like Red Dead Redemption 2.

There are different crafting stations in the city. After collecting enough materials, we can use these to craft and upgrade the level. Raising the level will unlock higher resources. In layman's terms, it is life skills. Some players like to make armor weapons, some like to cook, some like to make furniture and handmade jewelry, etc. These all take time to improve proficiency and level. Players can choose one or two to upgrade, or slowly accumulate with the game time and slow to master all. Pretty good.

New World has different survival skills

Fast teleportation is also designed in the game, but fast teleportation needs to consume a currency called Azoth. If this currency is not enough, then you cannot quickly move between big cities. After death, you can choose to be reborn at the nearest found teleportation point and bonfire in the set initial city. But there are different cooling rates and limits.

Sense Of Experience

Both the sense of strike and the sound effect make the feeling of blocking and attacking very good, and the flat slash also uses the form of three combos. Different weapon combinations can form different teams. For example, Fire Magic can summon fireballs in a certain range. Of course, blocking and dodging with Great Axe will consume stamina. In terms of movements, climbing cannot climb rocks, you can stand on fences, climb over fences, etc. The overall feeling is very smooth.

There will be random monster attacks on the map, and all bosses are basically above level 25. When your main line reaches level 20, you can form a team to play dungeons and fight bosses to obtain high-level equipment. The follow-up battles between players between factions, and even siege games are even more exciting.

Here I want to talk about farming maps of this game. Except for fast teleportation, it can only rely on legs, and there is no automatic running. You only have automatic pathfinding based on the route, and there is no mount system, so it will consume a certain amount of time on the road.

In addition to various materials collected in the wild, there are also fantasy plants that we have never seen. At the same time, there are treasure chests and documents where some monsters are located, which can be collected and read. There will also be some fragmented information about the world in the city. We can learn a lot by collecting these.

New World integrates survival production into open world MMORPG, creating a unique legendary story under the background of the 17th century. Different weapons and rich weapon skill trees allow players to choose more freely in team combination and weapon specialization .The diverse elements such as survival, collection, production and exploration are the characteristics of this game. The choice of different factions, the battle between PVE and PVP all make this game more challenging and sustainable. Therefore, New World is a game well worth the time to play.

Why Everyone Cheering for the Sequel of Roguelike Game Hades in TGA

The Game Awards happened a few days ago, but we're not here to talk about every details. What we're here to discuss, is Supergiant Games surprising every rouguelike players by breaking its “no-sequel” tradition in announcing Hades II releasing.

202Why Everyone Cheering for the Sequel of Roguelike Game Hades in TGApg

You may ask what is Hades? Back to 2020, action-roguelike Hades saw Zagreus battling his way up from Hades (the place) to meet his estranged bio-mom, Persephone. Hades was my game of the year 2020. I don't mean to say that Hades is objectively the best, because that's an impossible metric (and also Baldur's Gate 3 isn't out yet). Rather, developer Supergiant's Greek mythology-flavored action roguelike was, improbably, the game that best characterizes the year 2020.

20Why Everyone Cheering for the Sequel of Roguelike Game Hades in TGAvvvg

Hades, which entered early access in 2018 and launched offical version in PC and Switch platforms, after almost two years of additional development. More than that, it is a game whose structure and story are both rooted in repeated, inescapable failure. As Zagreus, the son of Hades, you try to slash, shield bash, spear, bow, punch, and gun your way out of hell, but no matter how many demonic shades fall after (ode to a Grecian) earning your ire, you end up back where you started.

Outstanding Narrative and Character:

This review discusses Hades' story in depth and includes both minor and major spoilers. If you haven't finished the game, and I mean really finished it, and wish to avoid spoilers, probably skip those sections.

Supergiant describes Hades as a roguelike, but only because there's not really a good genre descriptor that sums up what it really is. In between action-based runs through the ever-shifting halls of Tartarus, Asphodel, Elysium, and the Temple of Styx, you spend ample time talking to various gods, goddesses, shades (ghosts, basically), and Dusa, who defies categorization. Also Cerberus, who is both bigger than all other dogs and has three heads, thus making him quantifiably the best boy. You can give these characters gifts to strengthen your bonds, but just conversing with them over the course of countless runs is enough to peel back many of their layers.

You get to know these characters as 10 hours give way to 20, 30, 60, and onward. When I first encountered Achilles while playing Hades, I thought he was a dreary shadow perpetually posed against the same dull wall. Now, months later, he's like a father, brother, and maybe more to me, a font of generosity in spite of his own past failures. These slow-build interactions, which sometimes move at a speed akin to that of real-life relationships, are just as central to Hades as making a mess of Hell on your way to the surface.

Characters, in turn, react to your progress and deeds, some of which come to directly involve them. Given the number of possible permutations of your progress both through the game and with various characters, it is a mind-bogglingly complex narrative system that somehow manages to feel coherent at almost all times.

In fact everyone, including main antagonist Hades and the universally reviled Theseus, has this caring softness to them that enhances their blinding attractiveness to cosmic levels. Zagreus, full of concern for his friend Dusa, asks her if she's okay with him killing other gorgons. Asterius, slain by Theseus in life, becomes bound to him by camaraderie and respect in death. Even Megaera, after being slain by Zagreus countless times, develops a fondness for him, and warns him to be careful whenever he ventures out to escape. Everyone loves everyone else and that is just so awesome to see, especially in 2022 when even human compassion is in rare supply.

In a mythos wherein the gods are usually portrayed as hateful, backstabbing, narcissists, Supergiant made these gods beautiful—inside and out.

Amazing Game Play:

It didn't take very long for me to fall in love with Hades, Supergiant's take on the roguelike genre. It's not just that the core gameplay loop was enticing, but seemingly every aspect of the game seemed to ooze quality and egged me on to play some more. There is something fascinating about how this game feels so complete and incredible.

I used the genre of roguelike to refer to this game, but truth be told, depending on who you ask, this classification has vastly different meanings. For the purpose of this article, here's what I used the term to identify key elements of the gameplay loop: floor-based progression, random power-ups throughout the progression and start-over on death. This classification puts Hades there along with games like FTL, Slay the Spire, The Binding of Isaac, Spelunky, and many more; games that have vastly different mechanics but whose core appeals remain similar.

This basic loop is very popular nowadays and for good reason: it's incredibly compelling. The floor-based structure makes progression towards success very easy to quantify and encourages the player to push forward. Random power-ups ensure each attempt is different and presents an opportunity for synergies, making the player looking forward to those "god-runs". And the start-over on death wraps it all together. Hades supplements this with a very satisfying combat system which ensures the compelling aspects of the loop are backed up by a fun overall experience. And this is the core loop that every other element of Hades feeds into.

One of the main ways that this loop is reinforced is through the use of multiple global progression axes. More classical roguelikes only have the player expertise getting better through multiple runs. Hades gives the player ways to make each attempt easier through multiple ways. The mirror makes the player stronger, by giving them more health, starting gold, or luck for example. The weapons offer different play styles and can be further customized and upgraded. Even the rooms can be upgraded with chest and pots that grant rewards or be fit with healing fountains.

Each axis of progression requires resources that can be acquired during the runs. This method of multiple axes of progression has very strong effects on the main loop.

First, it creates two different paradigms for each run: getting as far as possible or amassing resources. This in turns reduces the amount of "bad runs" since weaker runs can be used to gather resources instead, the player still feels like they're accomplishing something. That completely discourages the player from abandoning a run, a mechanic too often seen in other games of the genre (looking at you, Spelunky).

The second effect is that with multiple axes of global progression, each player can more easily reach a state of flow. Since how far you go is based both on skill and the character's power, the player doesn't get exposed to more information than their current skill level can handle.

All in all, It's no surprise that this game is a masterpiece since it's built on every other game Supergiant has made before. It is built upon their strengths and vision and their amazing capacity for creativity and humanity. Even though the game depicts an endless fight against established power, it somehow provides much needed fun in these troubled times.

Impressive Soundtrack

For a game that imaginatively reinvented Greek mythology to craft a difficult but immensely rewarding experience, Hades required an engrossing soundtrack. Redditor Rectacrab thinks it delivers more than just that, calling the score "so so good" and highlighting pieces like "Rage of the Myrmidons" that made the Elysium sequence unforgettable.

Darren Korb may be best known as the voice of Zagreus in the game, but he has also composed the music for every Supergiant Games title, including Hades. What makes the soundtrack great is that every single floor has its own distinctive feel, often incorporating unusual instruments and different cultural influences, yet it manages to feel like a cohesive soundtrack.

How to Become Master of Lucian in League of Legends? Guides You Should Read First

Lucian has always been a popular champion in League of Legends, both in normal as well as in competitive play. His "hit-and-run" kit makes it rewarding to play when well-executed, and his mobility is a unique characteristic that other marksmen do not have.

details you have to know about the gameplay of Lucian after updates

Throughout the years, though, Lucian has lost a lot of value, especially in terms of total damage output, compared to the newly released champions. This brought Riot Games to make a substantial change to his kit in patch when a new portion of his passive called "Vigilance" was added to his kit. Vigilance grants additional bonus damage on Lucian's next two auto attacks when he is buffed or healed by an allied champion. The buff immediately brought Lucian back into the meta, with enchanter supports as his preferred duo partners.

Since then, the gunslinger has been a stable presence across all elos, having particular success at the top of the ladder, with a 51.78 percent win rate in Master and above, according to U.GG.

That being said, mastering Lucian is not an easy feat. He requires great mechanics and a strong understanding of his strengths and weaknesses. If you're looking to play him to climb the solo queue ladder, we have got you covered.

Runes

There are two main rune combinations for Lucian, each having their own pros and cons:

First Strike Lucian

Inspiration

First Strike: this keystone rune is easy to proc with Lucian and it's crucial to get ahead in gold of your enemies to be stronger during the mid game. Compared to most other ADCs, Lucian doesn't scale as well in the late stages of the game so First Strike's extra gold makes up for it. If used correctly, you will be having a great economy from the 10-minute mark since you can utilize your burst damage to gain more gold. You might lack some damage in the early game, but it will guarantee better items as the game prolongs.

Magical Footwear: this is the standard rune that most ADCs run. The 300 gold saved can be used to rush the Mythic item sooner and the extra ten movement speed is a valuable stat for a mobile champion like Lucian.

Biscuit Delivery: the gunslinger tends to burn a lot of mana in the early game to make trades and push the wave. The biscuits help him quickly regenerate mana and they can also be used in clutch situations to gain some extra health that might save him from dying.

Cosmic Insight: there aren't other runes that are nearly as effective as Cosmic Insight in this row of the Precision tree. Having the summoner spells' cooldowns lowered is always great for marksmen, especially for Lucian who can also use it offensively to quickly chase down a target.

Precision

Presence of Mind: just like for Biscuit Delivery, this rune grants additional mana to Lucian since he doesn't get any from his current build. The mana restored upon takedowns allows him to keep using his abilities and maintain his damage output constant in a skirmish or teamfight.

Legend: Bloodline: Lucian's build doesn't have lifesteal included, so Legend: Bloodline grants him some extra sustain that might become handy in the later stages of the game.

Press the Attack Lucian

Precision

Press the Attack: compared to First Strike, Press the Attack gives Lucian more skirmishing potential in the early game. The rune synergizes well with the ADC's passive Lightslinger and it works best in extended trades.

Presence of Mind: see above.

Legend: Bloodline: see above.

Coup de Grace: the extra eight percent damage to targets below 40 percent health is helpful for Lucian to quickly burst down a target. Go for this against rune if there are a lot of squishy targets on the enemy team.

Inspiration

Magical Footwear: see above.

Cosmic Insight: see above.

Bonuses: +10 percent attack speed, +9 adaptive force, +6 armor

Items
The starting items for Lucian are fairly straightforward: Doran's Blade is the most common start and it grants attack damage, health, and a little bit of sustain. In other words, you get everything you would need in one item.

If you're looking to go for an aggressive start, you can also consider buying a Long Sword and Refillable Potion. This is a higher-risk, higher-reward strategy since it allows you to get your first core item earlier, but it gives you less trading ability in the first few minutes of the lane. Losing the extra health and the sustain makes you also more vulnerable so it's crucial to not mess up during the laning phase.

On your first recall, look to get the Noonquiver since it greatly increases your trading ability, as well as the ability to push waves thanks to the item's passive. Try to always recall once you have the gold, otherwise, your recalls will not be as efficient and it might delay your Mythic Item purchase.

There's only one possible Mythic Item for Lucian and that's Galeforce. The item's passive can be used both offensively and defensively, further enhancing Lucian's innate mobility.

The item can also be used in combo with his own dash on his E to quickly reposition twice within a matter of tenths of seconds. After buying Galeforce, close your tier two boots with Berserkers' Greaves, and proceed to rush your second core item, The Collector.

While it's not used a lot by other ADCs, it's the best second item for Lucian as it matches with his own spike in the mid game we mentioned earlier. The lethality allows him to quickly pierce through the squishy targets and the execute passive is just the icing on the cake.

For your fourth and fifth items, you have two possible choices and the order of purchase will depend on the game state. If you're well ahead and are snowballing hard, get the Infinity Edge to maximize your damage output since you will already have the 60 percent critical strike chance. If you're struggling to walk into auto-attack range since enemies can take you down, buy Rapidfire Cannon since it costs 900 gold less and it allows you to poke from a safer position.

To round off the build, there are four possible items that can be bought, two damage-oriented choices and two defensive items. Lord Dominik's Regard and Serylda's Grudge amplify your total damage thanks to the armor penetration that both come with. LDR is better against tanks while Serylda is overall better if you need the passive's slow to kite your opponents.

If you're getting burst down and need some defensive stats, Guardian Angel is the go-to item thanks to its revive passive. Against a lot of magic damage, however, Maw of Malmortius will be more effective.

intorductions on different iteams in the game and why you have to choose them

Last things I have to mention that no matter you want to choose Lucian as top laner or AD carry, the mechanism actually did not change too much through the years. So watch professional players' rank show is also important, here are two different videos I would like to recommend to you, hope you can enjoy them and get better. See you guys next time.
