New World: Aeternum takes players to explore a thrilling world full of dangers, opportunities and challenges. Each player will become a castaway and start a new destiny on Supernatural island of Aeternum.

In the wilderness and ruins of the island, you will have endless opportunities to fight, gather and forge.

In the combat system, you can Channel Supernatural forces, or you can fight alone, kill monsters, and get rewards such as New World Aeternum Coins. You can also fight with a squad and join a large army to fight.

The game announced the release of New World: Aeternum Season 8 - Season of the Divide on the morning of May 13. As soon as this news came out, it quickly attracted the attention of a large number of game enthusiasts.

This is a major update for the game, which will bring high-risk PvP, high-speed game progress and brutal challenges to this MMO game.

This update introduces a new Hardcore Seasonal Server, Coral Divide map, and the new Capture the Flag mode. Powerful new Artifacts and weekly World Boss encounters are added, and major combat improvements and rewards are brought to the shores of Aeternum.

PvP Additions And Maps

Capture The Flag

Capture the Flag is a new PvP mode. Powerups and Jump Pads of this mode give players a more realistic and competitive gaming experience. 10vs10, two teams fight each other in battle, grab the flag, and compete for the final victory.

3v3 Arena Map

The largest arena, it is located in the ancient temple grove. The arena is foggy in the early stages, which is more suitable for close combat.

Coral Divide Map

Coral Divide map appears for the first time this season. Players compete for control of the arena, which helps players see better in the arena, search for items, etc. Predictions suggest this will be the most heavily used map of the season.

Outpost Rush: Barebones

Fair competition, maximum battle score. Here, all equipment perks of players will be banned, and duels will be purely about skills.

New Seasonal Server: Hardcore Server

Expected to launch in June, in the limited-time Hardcore Seasonal World, players start out as “survival”, which means that they can get elite rewards without dying. Players will not be deleted when they die in the game, but they will not be able to get rewards. The upgrade curve is accelerated, Artifacts limit is increased, the main quest is redesigned, and the equipment is simplified - all designed for fast upgrades and fierce competition.

Expeditions Unleashed: World Boss

Rotate open world boss battles every week to fight against classic Expeditions characters such as Mammoth Mahantaram and Scarab Boss Khepri. Players can unite to defeat level 70 bosses to get higher-level loot, and each activity will get a guaranteed 725 GS item and multiple 710+ items.

Combat Skill Adjustments

Combat skill adjustments are mainly in the wandering amount. The first is the introduction of five new survival potions, including health potions and courage potions. 

Then, there is the improved aiming mechanism, which rebalances the target lock for players, bringing less auto-aim and more skills. 

Finally, there are the new Jade and Turquoise gems. Jade gem introduces a disease mechanism, while Turquoise gem provides armor penetration options to help players be more handy in combat.
